Wow I hadn’t thought to add those extra goodies to my chooks ferments. I use a good quality of rolled mixed grains and add linseed, garlic granules, dried oregano, diatomaceous earth and molasses with ACV, but I might try adding some cayenne pepper, but I think I’ll just plant lots of marigolds just pick the flowers for them to peck at.
