Does the company need a COR to provide me with the JAL if I am on a open work permit (PGWP). Because it says on the website -- "Please note that employers are not required to have a certificate of registration if they are hiring a foreign national who has an open work permit or is in an immigration class that is exempted by federal legislation to require a work permit"

The SINP Job Approval Letter (JAL) is a pre-approved authorization for an employer to hire a foreign worker that can apply to immigrate through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) 1. Employers must submit an online application for a SINP JAL for each occupation that they intend to fill with a foreign worker 1. The SINP will assess each Job Approval Form to see if the job meets SINP criteria. The goal is to process Job Approval Forms within six weeks 2. To be eligible for approval, all online applications for a SINP JAL must be for a place of work that is within the geographic boundaries of Saskatchewan and be a location zoned for commercial purposes 1. If you have any questions related to the Certificate of Registration (COR) process or the Foreign Worker Recruitment and Immigration Services Act (FWRISA), please contact LRWS at 306-798-1350 or [e-mail] 1. I just want to know if the date of job offer letter would be current date that employer provided after Jal letter or it should state the original date when employee actually started working at that place.
