Great session. Thank you for sharing. I will repeat it 2 more times in the evening and morning. I have a question: I'm currently stuck at my parents at 42, after living behind 10 years of independent life, in part because my presence was needed to help with some family issues, and in part because I'm struggling to recover from a severe burnout. My negative core belief is the conflict between self-realization-individuation and belonging, to the point I have somatized it by being stuck and exhausted in permanence. I've tried to overcome it in many ways for years but each time I try to free myself from the toxic loyalty to my family (=a lifetime dealing with never-ending problems and drama), there is always something bad happening or I get ill. I would say that the importance of family is strongly wired in my subconscious and my will and tons of inner work can't do nothing. I'll appreciate insights on that. Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge.

Amazing I actually cried when I realized what really happened in my Jr year of high school. Went to the guidance counselor office to schedule classes that were supposed to start colloge prep. I told her I wanted to be a RN. She told me I would not be a RN. She did not sign me up for any preparatory classes. Put mevin home ec geared classes with just the general stufies for graduation. I have carried that since 1994. Even though I do have a degree in Respiratory Therapy. I still feel that self-preservation mode and just go and get the first job that has nothing to do with patient care. Thank you for helping me and from this day until my last I will not fail that 15yo girl again! She will succeed and she will prosper ❤❤❤❤❤❤

This hypnosis went very deep for me. My self-sabotage is around money. Every time I get a substantial amount of money I find a way to get rid of it. But I have a strong feeling that this hypnosis will change that. Thank you.
@mirekcieslowski21349 ай бұрын
I have the same problem. I can make money and find the way not to keep it. I think this hypnosis helped me to overcome some of it. I wish there was less fluff in this hypnosis, more to the point and shorter. 20 minutes would be enough and it would be less resistance and find the time everyday. Just going to the childhood, meet young myself and resolve it. I added some imaginery tools to “cut” my ties to the past childhood programing while in hypnosis and I feel it works better.

Right now, I’m traveling throughout Chile, and honestly, my finances don’t give me the freedom I thought I’d need. But here’s the strange thing-without my finances really improving, I’m somehow still managing to do the things I want to do. It’s like things are just falling into place. Thanks for checking in, I really appreciate it!

The part where I viewed myself as a child made me cry, I told myself I love you and I am right here for you. When it was time to say goodbye I hugged myself and watched my self go play with friends. It’s strange how somethings so simple can be so difficult and confusing to understand and find. Thanks for metaphorically holding my hands and walking me through.

Sarah, you are amazing. You offer so much for wonderful reasons, and that is to help people heal themselves without having to pay $100's of dollars, even $1000's for their own self glory. I realised my self-sabotage was due to Polio at 10 months, going back at age 4 not having a bond with my mother, treated badly, emotionally and physically...I'm 65, with 3 marriages behind me...I kept it down for years , having sworn my mother wouldn't see me cry...Since September 2019 I am seeing an amazing therapist/ healer...I use your wonderful words to supplement her work...I am blessed to have found you

The experience I had; it was not a deep meditation , this was more like a lighter presence (more objective look/stepping back) at the sabotage/stressors lately. It transformed some of the heavier weight on my chest to a lighter state of being. Thank you ☺️

This was an extremely good hypnosis session for me, one that I know I will revisit. It has made me understand the complexity with self belief and how limiting this is - and the reason behind my self sabotage in the beginning. I am truly grateful to you for sharing these hypnotic journeys with us all ! You make so Much difference in our lives. Words will never express how you gave me so much back today of myself - truly appreciate you xxx
@unlockyourlife2 жыл бұрын
Hi Robyn, so glad you found some insights and also breakthroughs in this session. Yes, lack self-belief is a factor in self-sabotage and so deeply linked to self-worth. And sabotage can be because we were told we don't deserve to succeed or we can also interpret that without being told it if we grew up in a very conforming, controlling culture. Wishing you success, Sarah
@MonicaNouvelle7 ай бұрын
This was so incredibly beautiful. I cried seeing that I was self sabotaging as a way of hurting myself before anyone else could hurt me because it was unfair that they were so powerful to hurt me. I let my little 5 year old self know that NO ONE had to hurt me. That wasn’t normal and that I’m here to protect her now. We can play and be at peace. And we can have fun. No one can hurt her anymore. And I don’t have the be afraid. I rocked her and then she started to comfort me (my life habit of comforting others) I stopped and told her I was upset but I’ll be okay. I know I was crying but it’s okay. I’m here to make sure she’s safe. We laughed and smiled and she kissed me on the cheek and I just hugged her like I know I liked to be hugged. Just a beautiful experience. I might be doing this again. My anger got so much that my heart was pounding but even as ai sat up, I still felt I was in the hypnosis.
@unlockyourlife7 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for sharing. What a profound experience. Anger can be positive too. Anger represents boundaries. But women especially are taught not to show anger. And then to feel such tender love towards yourself - powerful! And yes, you can move and still be in hypnosis ,this is true. You can experience all kinds of emotions in hypnosis; it doesn't require a state of calm.

I hope that you are still practicing self care and compassion. I also had a history of substance abuse for several years. It took a couple years of doing hypnosis/meditation videos such as these and I’m happy to say I’m now clean and sober longer than I’ve been since the beginning of my substance abuse. Even if you are still using, I recommend listening to videos such as this daily.. eventually you will get to a place where you gain the strength to stop. Once you’re clean, you will have less reasons to hate yourself which makes you use more like a vicious cycle. That’s how it was for me at least. I wish you the best in recovery and in life!

A combination of things helped me with emotional binge eating; building my sense of self worth (this hypnosis helps!) & intermittent fasting.✨
@c.d.63712 ай бұрын
Intermittent fasting is a huge help. If I don't start eating first thing in the morning, my hunger is easily controlled when I do eat. Usually once a day, later in the day. Full meal, dessert too! We are told to eat too much food wash and everyday. Back it off and it will slowly change your eating habits.

I found this very beneficial, having been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia recently (aged 66) I had fallen into the belief that this was the end of my life of enjoyment and being able to do things that I used to do, it left me miserable and feeling like an empty shell of the real me! After exploring the internet for help I found your channel and listened to some of your material that I thought maybe could help. I’m glad to say that it has helped with changing my mind set and has given me hope! I have been self destructive and have been guilty of thinking everything worst case scenario, I think that the most important thing I have learned is that my pain is not life threatening and with a positive mind set is not going to stop me doing MOST of the things that I want to do, I know that some things may be a bit out of reach until I get back into exercising my tired old bones back into a higher level of fitness. Having found hypnotherapy helpful in the past I knew that I should respond to it so it was just finding the right material to help, thank you so much for your videos, the ones I am now using are making a difference! I went out shopping with my wife this morning, the first time for a while, I used to hate shopping but today it was a pleasure for me to be able to do so!

Thank you for sharing as your comment is so helpful to others. It will be part conscious but most certainly part subconscious too. When you feel a resistance of that kind, you know you have found that part of you that needs healing and/or release. It's like poking at an old sore spot that needs to open and release the "gunk" or infection to then fully heal. Just remember that once you have had this release, you are not going to have those old ingrained beliefs holding you back and you can continue to build a mindset of abundance without the old limits. Cheering you on from here! 🙏 Sarah

I am self sabotaging with food and finances and I am in a really really dark place and feel lost and hopeless about my future - I am going to listen to this at home tonight. I need help and I'm scared that I will never pull out of this

Hi Tracy. Try listening to some of my healthy eating meditations from the Think Yourself Slim program and maybe something from my Self Esteem playlist. These may help.

I sabatouged myself again?😬

Hi Sarah, I love how calming your inductions are! Just one question regarding this hypnosis audio: shall one follow the instructions or let their mind absorb your words?
@unlockyourlife4 жыл бұрын
So the mind is best with repetition. In private practice I work with something both known and unknown. So the answer is: focus on what you feel is the most important to you. If dealing with what you are consciously aware of, put that centre of your mind and listen to this until you feel and behave in a way that shows you are no longer repeating this learned behaviour. Then move on to another area. Engage your conscious mind if you wish, and relax knowing your subconscious is working with you every step of the way too. If you happen to go so deep that you are no longer consciously aware of listening and reprogramming your brain, not a problem! I hope this helps. There's many ways to benefit from hypnosis; no one way is the only way. Take care my dear, Sarah

Hi Sarah can i listen to this when i’am sleeping?
@unlockyourlife5 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. But for the first time at least I'd recommend being awake and just lightly dozing to consciously remember anything that comes up for you.
