I think Fuki's singing skills have improved the most was from the album "Affected", it let her be the top tier jmetal singer. But the scariest things was that she has improved in every new album. I think a lot of people heard that she had the best high pitch control this new album.

Evolution definitely grew on me, falling in love with their original sound from Black Pentagram and Cadaver and even their previous arrangements had me enter this album cautiously. I'm glad I gave it a real chance cause there are great songs on this album and this is a perfect example!

Agreed!! I do think Evolution is still Metal enough, especially when you have songs like Welcome to Valhalla and The Black Death Mansion Murders! Shirens screams are sorely missed though! I do look forward to the future for Unlucky Morpheus though, and hope Shiren will scream in future albums. 🥰

Who has time to figure out what she's even singing while you're spellbound by her beautiful voice anyway? XD For most songs I listen to, it's more about the feeling the song gives me than the lyrics anyway. Which is why I can't really listen to pop music. Since that's just lyrics with a beat under it, most of the time anyway.

I've never ever really listened to lyrics, and only really notice them if they're so cringe or bad I can't ignore them, so we're kinda similar. It's made me love this all/mostly female anime metal revolution in Japan be the thing that makes me really feel like I'm 18 again and music IS my identity and life. This is something I've wanted to see my whole life, TBH. Thought about it a lot, it's like a metal dance off. It's crusty western dudes throw out something really cool, and then band maid or Unlucky Morpheus is like "yo hold my beer"
