Brickseek is actually still pretty good about finding what stores have what prices. So if you have multiple Walmarts in your area I would try looking it up to see if it’s discounted anywhere. No guarantee that if it’s listed as being discounted that it will actually be there, but at least it gives you a starting point to search. I would try searching with multiple different ZIP Codes in your area to see if maybe one of them populates a good deal.

Look up the BrickSeek app. You can also go on their webpage and look things up as well at brickseek.com. I believe you have to sign up for a free login to use the app, but I’m not positive on that.

Yeah, I don’t think these are widespread deals. I have seen a lot of eight dollar clearance deals that have been widespread. Check out my past Instagram or Twitter posts from about the last couple months. It was a lot of random stuff, resident evil two on Xbox was one of the ones that comes to mind.

Your Walmart is very well stocked with games. My local Walmart barely has any games besides the 1st party and popular games

It definitely helps to be in a town that has multiple Walmarts to choose from. This Walmart in particular tends to do their own clearance. That’s why I always check back every few weeks to see what’s new. I don’t think a lot of these will be widespread but I figured I would put these out there so you guys knew to look out for them.

Actually, BrickSeek has their own app now. I’ve gotten pretty good at looking things up on there fairly quickly. The Walmart app only works if you have something to scan.

thats how you know things are so F'ed up that you have to use a 3rd party app, and not a walmart app, to actually figure out what the F real prices are. The walmart app is basically useless for price checks in 2023

I usually use the BrickSeek app when I can’t have access to the barcodes on the back of the games. The Walmart app actually does still work as long as you have Walmart plus. My wife did get Walmart plus so we could get free delivery on things, so I use it occasionally but it’s easier not to have to hassle employees to come let me scan stuff. The Brickseek app is still pretty good for checking prices but it still doesn’t let you know how many are available at stores anymore. So it’s kind of better as a price checker than it is to find out if something is in stock, if that makes any sense.
