Most people can’t use electric cars either because 1 they drain to fast especially in cold weather that’s why batteries on cars fuck up in winter it’s because of the cold, they are expensive as hel and not practical at all as well as taking FOREVER to charge, you can fill up a gas car or truck in 5 minutes it takes hours to get an electric car up to full, it often needs to be at a designated place so no gas stations, most places that use them require permission to use them and you can’t just charge it up at home not only because it would be crazy expensive to buy the stuff set it up and get permits but you would be paying a fuck ton more on your electricity bill.
