In Numbers, etc when there is the elucidation of the tribes of the Canaanite, ALL of the tribes mentioned the Rephaim, that Zamzumim. the Anakim etc are all the "remnant of the Nephilim" or giants in other words. These particular hybrids are descended from Ham's son, Canaan, who must have had Nephilim/Giant genres (or his wife did), which (along with some other stuff that I won't go into here) sparked a return of (mostly) diminished races of giants, although the Anakim were particularly tall. Interestingly, and this is well worth following up, various sources ascribe different supernatural abilities to the various named Nephilim tribes. As I recall, the Rephaim had a form of what we could all regeneration, while the Zamzumim were shapeshifters, etc. This is an awesome rabbit hole to go down!
