Yoshiki is simply one of the best and most famous musicians in Japan. The leader and drummer of the legendary X Japan. His name is well known also in other countries. I just LOVE him and his music!

Regardless of which film this song becomes a soundtrack to. I personally think this song as an original hit already stands by itself, and I don't get tired listening to this melody.
I agree with you. This might not be her best performance, but Screaming Blue is amazing! It gives me the chills!!!

@donbear1983 Yes, the actual name of this song is "Unnamed Song", from Yoshiki Hayashi's 2005 classical album "Eternal Melody II".

It never had a name. 3 years of production, and no name ever given. It was just 'unnamed song'.

Yoshiki said that "violet" symbolizes a cross-racial image that his music wants to deliver and "UK" stands for "underground kingdom" which represents the spirit of underground music that is never restricted by any force or ideology. isn't this notion similiar to the music of X JAPAN? As X JAPAN becomes successful, it was also bounded by a fixed style...therefore, Yoshiki began this project, Violet UK, to pursue more possibilities in music.

Yoshiki's piano playing is more powerful than her vocals. She isn't strong enough in *this particular* performance. She can get there, but she needs to open up a lot more and allow more vulnerability and power into her performance.

Daughter's voice is very beautiful on a cd, however her live performances are lacking. This is definately one of Yoshiki's best.

Well considering 秀 was the main rock song writer, and he is now dead... This is his solo project, he can do what he wants, this is not X related.

Is this suppose to be a current 21st century version of this story? Fill me in on the details.

jadecamui: Her voice is perfect for a voiceover. I think he should've hired a more professional singer for this song. When sung in the right mood, this song is actually very touching and emotional.

I do not understand why Yoshiki using foreign (UK particularly) for his songs outside X Japan... definitely not X Japan style. 4ever X Japan.. she does not have voice to impress me

It's only me who thinks the chorus has no strength enough? Yoshiki rlz, but this singer has no voice enough to sing what she's trying to... But this version is much better than HeyHeyHey version...
