I think I know, how it was possible, that an Ashkenazi Rabbi asked such a strange question about the Talmud form Rav Ovadia. I heard (maybe this information is wrong) , that in the past few hundred years the Talmud got some new, more modern additions in Europe. If yes, than the Ashkenazi rabbi meant these newer, European extensions. If in the Orient these European extensions are known or not. At about 02:13:00.

00:25:30 Yes, I think we can see how this makes sense, when we think on the prohibition to eat (or drink) blood. Even by a perfectly kosher slaughter, a very little amount of blood will stay in the meat, in the thin veins. Its not really possible, to get rid of 100% of the blood from the meat of a slaughtered animal. If the person who did the slaughter did everything how it is written by the Torah-law, than it is good enough. The same concept by that little (accidently) drop of milk in a meat meal.
@RabbiMizrachiTimeStamps2 жыл бұрын
the little amount of blood that stays in the meat after the ritual slaughtering and salting does not have the same qualities as fresh blood. világos színű híg húslé marad benne, pl. a kóser csirkéből főtt húslevesen nem keletkezik hab főzés közben. üdv Torontóból
@janostoth43152 жыл бұрын
@@RabbiMizrachiTimeStamps True. Actually, (I believe) only fresh blood is really a problem for spiritual health, but the law does not makes a difference between fresh blood and "dead" blood. It seems to be the same concept with not mixing meat and dairy. Actually only the milk of the mother animal can not be mixed by cooking with the meat of her child, but the law got extended to every kind of meat and every kind of milk. This serves to decrease the risk to make a mistake and to decrease the risk, that other persons wrongly conclude, someone would break the law, while he is not. Üdv. Münchenböl.

TLDR satire: if you’re too anal about the made up laws because you’re raising and supporting 8 kids and don’t have time to properly learn and review the laws you might leave our slightly less OCD system
