Be very careful when republicans wish to change existing laws and regulations, many of the top Republicans are also big business owners and work with the elite. Many republicans complain about too much regulation and how its hurting jobs and businesses. There are very good reasons why those regulations were made, time and time again in the past big businesses were deliberately endangering the health and safety of their employees, customers and the environment. When the government stepped and said that's not right, the company management complained that they were not breaking any laws (i am paraphrasing of course), then government had to create laws and regulations to prevent companies from abusing their power. Just look at the story of Phossy jaw (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phossy_jaw#Match_industry) To see what happens if Governments don't intervene, the companies will keep making money over the dead bodies of their employees!

They literally sought out someone to make a contract with so that they could willingly become a slave and get a free ride to the United States. On top of that, most slaves were well taken care of, did the job they chose to do beforehand, had clean clothes, a bed, housing/shelter, and were well fed. They chose that job and just because a few didnt or a few were treated bad, so many ppl are all bent out of shape over it. Now the racism is nother story; that was bad. Not allowing blacks in certain restrooms and restaurants etc., yeah that's bad. But slavery: they wanted it, found someone to make a contract with, and chose to be a slave. It's also called "indentured servitude." I was taught by a black professor at Texas State University.
