UNNERFED SILENT CLUBSTEP IS OUT! (Kinda?) // Geometry Dash

Icedcave has now released an Official version of the Unnerfed Silent Clubstep, which could potentially be the new Top 1 Extreme Demon if verified.- Icedcave and Sailent have agreed on this being the new "real" version, however it will stay on Icedcave's account, unrated, until a potential verifier of the new version emerges, for them to then update the current RATED version. The changes made to Silent Clubstep to make it what it is today, and what made it rated after being verified was all changed back, and you can find the changelog on Icedcave's video, on his channel. What do you think of this? Do you think that if it is verified, it should replace the current one? Or should it stay as a "this is what it could have been" memorial for us to look upon. I kinda feel like the "update" is, although disrespectful to paqoe, vision and zoink (not you cursed), I still think it is necessary to make this change since once it gets verified the story of this old impossible level will be over, and possibly be placed at #1 on the Demon list. I feel like this level should be remembered in the future as a former #1 demon.

i personally disagree that updating levels is bad, i feel it depends on what you're updating. something like the aerial gleam nerfdate i very much agree with (as do many top players), and especially if its an update for bugfixes. but if someone updates a level just to make it harder and therefore makes the level less fun, then yeah i agree that is annoying :) oh and yes silent clubstep should not replace the current version imo i agree with that lol

in my opinion this unnerfed version shouldn't replace the rated version, but if it gets verified it should be rated as a separate level, and the title of the nerfed silent clubstep changed to indicate it was nerfed (although robtop would have to change it manually). i don't really think having two rated silent clubsteps would be too big of a problem

I like the idea of using RealVet's Eternal Silence with the same GP as the unnerfed with the unnerfed as the LDM. That way both can be on the list. Though tbh it doesn't really matter. People are too obsessed with the list anyway, levels should be beaten for achievement and personal satisfaction and people should praise them as such, not based on where they fall on a list which is realistically just an average opinion. (See people making fun of Diamond for 'not beating a real top 1' despite the fact they can't even get 10% on SKC) And watch, if this is verified people will bully Paqoe and Vision for not 'playing the *real* SC' (Hell people already do, never mind the fact the nerfed is barely different for most players and would have been equally impossible if released at the time of the original).

i think its good that they are replacing it personally, yeah it sucks for the verifier of the nerfed version but then again why should the nerfed version be rated at all? if it was redecorated to fit todays standards and nerfed/balanced itd be fine, or if it was unnerfed it would have alot of history being a previously accepted "impossible" level finally beaten legit with no nerfs it would also make sense to rate it. but just a nerfed version? it just doesnt sit right with me. they pretty much erase the history the level carries without adding anything new to it. so personally i think this is how the level shouldve been from the beggining

Since this lvl is so popular and it's a big part of Geometry Dash, it would be really nice to convince rob to rate both of them when the “unnerfed” will get verified.
