The ending part with Jinyoung is really revealing. We, as fans, don't get to actually see all the hardships that idols face on a daily basis. We never know what idols are going through or what health issues they may be facing. And the fact that so many of them deal with these things without anyone even noticing and project the perfect image on stage is truly something to admire and look up to.

Wicked BLINK There are a lot of fans who post fancams wherein idols do have fainting spells, nausea, and over all pain. However, not all people are exposed to it and just thinks being an idol is all sparkle and glamour. They do not see all the hard work and pain they go through. This is why I always recommend new KPop fans to watch variety shows so that they would know their idols more. As for Jinyoung, she has always been perky and cheerful but of course she's also human too, and would definitely feel sick, especially if she has an album out and doing Sister Slam Dunk at the same time. Promoting an album and shooting a variety show has always made idols weak and sickly.

@@xxashley314xx 2NE1 never fit the beauty standard in South Korea (slim v-shaped chin, big eyes with double lid fold, full lips, aegyo sal, pale skin, etc.), besides Sandara Park. But even Dara was put in weird hairstyles and clothes to fit in more with the group. They debuted in an era with Brown Eyed Girls, Wonder Girls, Girl's Generation, T-ARA, SISTAR, and other girl groups that better fit the beauty standard and were recognized for visually appealing members. 2NE1's hiphop concept (the OG girl crushes) also didn't fit with what was becoming the girlgroup norm of gg concepts, which were more appealing to male audienced. CEO YG would constantly say how ugly they were to their faces and to the people around him. South Korean culture is very misogynistic and, from what I understand, people are very outspoken about other people's looks.

Wait, if they perform 5 times in each music shows (4 without Show champion and the show) it means they perform about 20 times in four days. This must be so difficult and tiring, plus, they got little sleep time, how they manage to perform with a big smile and cheerful is crazy. Bru i think the multiple rehearsals may be to create the top idols' prerecorded video, for example when top idols get to promote 2 songs during the first week of their comeback they perform 1 live and the other is prerecorded and its often the main song they are promoting. i think they do this so the show can broadcast both songs one after the other but this way there's different stages and outfits basically they cant change outfits fast enough or they'd have to put someone else's performance between their 2 comeback songs while they change outfits and run to the other stage n stuf. so the lower-ranking groups or the rest of the groups performing on that show will only get one rehearsal unless there's mike failures, so after the first week of their comeback they drop the second song promo and the need for any prerecords so from then on it may be a bit easier for them n stuf
