I don't know if they are house rules or not but everyone I know plays it this way. You can place as many of the same number or action, you have down in one turn, regardless of the color. Also if a +2 is played another can be placed, regardless of the color (basically you can place any draw card down), and the amount of cards drawn adds until a person who does not have a draw card has to end up drawing all the card. The action card can also work on draws. You can pick a color on the +4 wild and if there is a +2 of the same color on the person after, they can play it and make the next person draw. We play as saying no uno as soon as the uno person puts down the card, which makes it harder to win. Finally we have the 2 for your mistake option. Playing with these rules makes the game harder and more interesting.

EXACTLY. Playing straight from the rules requires no amount of skill and simply luck. Playing with these know rules add much mlre tension to the game and you actually have to think about your game plan and how you will drop your cards and in which order. Plus the feeling when you put down 4 card in one shot and win is priceless.

In terms of calling "Uno", the only time the person with one card left have to draw 2 cards is when they get caught with a no call (when someone else call, uno). For example: if Tiff forgets to call uno, and Julia places her card down, Tiff can still call "uno" as long as no one catches her no call.

My family and I play Uno with some different rules: 1. You draw 7 cards if someone steal your Uno. 2. You keeps drawing cards until you have a playable card. 3. Action cards can be used to counter Draw cards. i.e. a player put down a draw 2 and the next player use a Reverse card to reverse the card's effect back to the previous player or a Skip card to skip their own turn and the Draw card will affect the next (3rd) player. 4. Draw cards can stack. i.e. one player put down a draw 2 and the next player put down another draw 2 or draw 4 and it become a draw 4 or draw 6 instead. The stacking can keep going until someone no longer have any Action cards and is forced to draw.

THE RULES ARE DIFFERENT WHEN I PLAY IT. You can call out uno when the person who is about to get uno, draws the second last card down. Also, if someone plays 2+ against you, you can put another 2+ or a 4+ to add on to the next player ad so on. I feel like that would be more funn. :)

wish they used some of the cool rules like stacking +2's with +2's or +4's with +4's and jumping in, a rule where if you have the same color, number or action card as someone who just played you can use yours skipping the people that were after the person between you and the person who just played. Another rule I love is the 7-0 rule in which if you place a 7 you trade hands with a person of your choice or if you place a 0 you all trade hands in the order the game is going. If you couldn't tell I got these rules from the uno game on steam which is super fun

PLAY SPICY UNO!!!! :) Just like regular Uno, but with more rules! Anytime you draw a: 0 - ALL players must pass their deck to the person on their left 1 - The player who put down the card has the option to swap their deck with someone of their choosing, (they can also choose NOT to swap with anyone). 6 - All players must slap their hand on the table, the last person to slap their hand draws a card. 7 - When a 7 is played, all players must be silent. If someone talks, they must draw a card. All players must stay silent until another 7 is played.

My personal set of house rules that I always play when the group is bigger than 5 people: 1: You are allowed to chain multiple cards with the same symbol in the corner. Meaning if you put down the same action card they stack. ex. 2 Skips means it skips 2 people or 2 Reverses cancel itself out (so an odd number of reverses actually changes the direction of the turns). The only exception is the basic wild card. 2: Should a person play a plus card (+2,+4) the person next to them cam avoid drawing by playing their own plus card to pass it to the next person. When no one can play any more plus cards, the person at the end of the chain has to add up the numbers and draw cards equal to the number added starting from the first person who played a plus card. Side note: if a person breaks the chain and is unable to play a color that matches the last plus card played, should someone else play a plus card, it starts a new chain so nothing is added. 3: Because of the last rule, plus cards do not count as missed turns so you can still play cards after drawing. Also, should you be unable to play a card and draw from the deck, you can immediately play the card should it match the stack. If the JKFam played with these house rules, I think it would be super exciting. :)

on 4:30 when Joe threw the card, that card means that the color of the current few cards before that card, will be thrown in a different color. which means if the current cards are red, then Joe threw the 'change of color' card (I dunno the name of the card but I want to name it that), then the next person will throw a different color which is for example, a blue card. The good thing about this card is that when you don't have a card that is comparison with the color and the number of the thrown card, you can throw the 'change of color' card so that you don't have to pick a card and the next person will throw a card with a different color. On the other hand, if the person has only one card and shouted "Uno!", nobody has to interfere with that person's card. It means that person is done with the game. Correct me if I'm wrong but trust me, I've played this game so many times.
