@MattiasHolmgren yes I look like the world best ergonomic analog synth !!!! it's almost perfect. I suggested to add 1/2 and 1/1 for delay duration because we can make awesome tricks with this (just need more effect ram).If you suggest to IK also it's better because they say my suggest is forwarded to firmware dev team:)

Great sounding little synth, tempted to get one myself at some point. Just curious which oscilloscope software do you use to visualise the waveforms? It's a very clean look,. the ones I've found sofar are trying to be way to clever/fancy and are more for visual effect. I want to see a clear waveform so that I can analyse and learn when programming a synth. thanks again!

I often use Bitwig oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, or more often just EQ+ and my ears.

I was just about to say who the heck needs another subtractive analog synth but this actually sounds incredibly good with that reverb, I wonder if that's an onboard reverb or if it was added?

Hey its a beast. It comes with ac adapter and usb cable. I just used two regular telecables to hook it to audio ins of my audio interface. Uno Synth Pro X (and any other synth) does not come with tele cables for audio connection.

I'd like to hear why I should use this equipment VS a VST plugin. And how you used the original in performance mode. Do you use the X in live performances?

Hi, the most important fact with a hardware synth is that everything is just "there". You got your oscillators, filters, effects ready to roll. No need to "load" a vst or add effect plugins. I would choose to use a hardware synth like the Uno Synth Pro X in a situation where I would like to have "more fun" and play with knobs and buttons for instant access to multiple controls to shape the synth sound, and also get that "analog & ballsy" sound. I would choose a VST when I don't feel the need to do so much "shaping" and performance on the sound and rather work with automation. So hardware synth for evolving arps. I often lean towards software for long (sustained) bass sounds, and hardware for shorter bass sounds. It also depends on the time I have for a project. If it's my own personal projects without deadline, I mix hardware and software, I have more fun that way because I like the tactile feel of twisting knobs and instantly access to several parameters. If it's a tight deadline for a client, it's often software because less fiddling with connecting gear. I have the unosynth pro. It does sound excellent, meaty analogue. But it also has a noisy floor. I can quite often hear the tuning program at a very low level if I’m not playing anything. I also had trouble getting it to sync with the app. Once I did get the app to sync, it made programming it a lot quicker. Have you had any of those issues on any of your unos?

Yeah background / leak noise is often the issue with analog circuits, most gear have some sort of issue with this. I get it with Behringer Poly D, Uno Synths. More expensive gear will have less artifacts obviously = more expensive components, more space / improved isolation. In a mix and after cutting the tracks its never an issue, as the ballsy volume will be million db louder. What you can do is add a noise gate in your daw if it becomes an issue and you have like a very quiet passage with only a small sound that decays. Also check your ADSR so your AMP release is not too long. 👌 Did you update the firmware?

Hi Matthias, thanks for your reply. Good to hear I’m not alone. I agree it’s not really an issue in recording, big signal. I’ve just been manually cutting out sections on the daw. I didn’t think about a noise gate, I will try that. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah and I didn’t mention Bassline button. I can only cover so much in one video to make it digestable😄. I personally don’t use the apps because I feel you can do most stuff directly from the synth itself anyway. Or I would use a vst instead. But indeed it’s great to have the app if you like to fiddle indepth via a software instead. 👌🎅

To me being tiny is the salient "attraction" here. Tiny knobs that are quite close together and you have to push a tiny button to move between oscillators. If that is your priority this delivers and sounds good while doing it. To me SE-02 is also too small though being bigger than this and having a better workflow IMHO while also sounding great. As always it comes down to wants, desires, and budget...

Not a bad synth ive got the little Uno mono synth. I was going to buy this but decided to get a Dreadbox Typhon instead and I'm so glad I did. While I have played on one of these these the little Typhon just sound amazing.
