Zanjutsu is basically the way of the sword. Kenpachi has no real swordsmanship. He is simply just flailing his sword around without any form of technique. He was prohibited to learn any form of swordsmanship because he would become too powerful. We got a glimpse of this when he fought against Nnoitra. When he was swinging his sword around with one hand and no technique he was somewhat struggling, but when he decided to use a two-handed hold (Kendo) he slayed Nnoitra with ease.

Nah Yamamoto ordered her to standby in the barracks she LITERALLY said this last episode also she doesn’t like the bloodshed which is why she became a pacifist she only brought out her kenpachi side to train kenpachi swordsmanship cause she is the greatest swordswomen in this show and basically committed suicide and let kenpachi kill her she let go of her old ways also she’s thier best healer what kind of leader sends their best healer in the middle of combat to potentially die shunsui let it happen cause he valued strength(kenpachi) over healing(unohana) because they lost their powerhouse(Yamamoto) needed a replacement(kenpachi) it’s not a plot hole you just don’t know what your talking about which would make sense if your anime only or you just flat out don’t understand her character or the plot revolving around her no offense

It makes no sense, you are under attack by ppl who can destroy your entire society, hate you, and your ppl can't use their strongest power cause they can steel it. Field your best assets, there are other healers, and if she is such a great fighter she can basically kill Zaraki as many times as she did in their fight without much of an effort she'd decimate the Quincy. Unohana reveal is a plot twist not a plot hole her being that strong but not fighting is her character and a part of her motivation if her character was the same as a 1000 years ago and she didn’t fight in the invasion then you can argue it’s a “plot hole” but she isn’t and that’s the point you don’t get it’s called character development for it to be a plot hole unohana had to have already been established as a ruthless bloodthirsty killer but she wasn’t she was portrayed as kind and caring woman through the whole story with a lot of hints and foreshadowing to her former side which is why it’s a plot twist and not a asspull definition of a asspull: A hastily fabricated explanation or contrived plot twist. Zaraki is so weak that he died many times and was resurrected by Unohana. Zaraki admired and looked up to Unohana and there is nothing more he wants than to be the strongest Kenpachi. At the end of the entire fight, Unohana give his wishes and let him kill her because there can only be one Kenpachi. This shows how strong Unohana is.
