Did you wear the same outfit to travel in both ways? That's my main guess on why my bag was heavier on our flight within Australia, than on the journey to Australia or on the journey home (earlier this week).

I did! Really not sure but maybe the scales were different or something? I only bought a couple things so really not sure where the weight came from
