Having been a rs player since 05 i've seen all the drama. I kinda feel like, Gross gore would have been the Oda beta version before the release of Oda. The two are similar with the eccentric entertainment but one is tame, the other is unfiltered and questionable. Gore had to walk so Oda could fly. There are similarities in their personality, without being disrespectful Gore clearly has Bi-polar, ADHD, perhaps some of the tism spice which is going to severely affect his mental state, hence the over exaggerations, the unbelievable stories...the excitement and clear rises in behaviour. Its a caricature but it isn't, its who he actually is and can obviously be taken advantage of, even Oda is mocking him in the video for comedic content knowing that gore is naïve to it. Oda has faced a lot of backlash, but this is where the two differ greatly. Oda's only issue is his baldness. Omar is eccentric and a goof but his caricature is played up for the audience. His real life he is sensible, hard working and a dedicated husband who knows streaming wasn't his only option but his most successful option. The backlash he has faced he has been able to overcome and allow his resilience to become formidable. The capitalisation of his content and maturity to being a popular streamer is why he is successful and almost uncancelable, Oda is above it and doesn't care about drama about him, but he is passionate about the game and its community. Gore is a warning, what can go wrong to streamers. His life exposed, his family targeted, his mental health suffering. Despite his vulnerability with bi-polar and no doubt thoughts of perma logging irl he has however pulled through and still trying. It is honourable.
