Hi Libby. I have know of diabetics to have a banana prior to bed. Keeps the sugar levels at bay until morning,so maybe the muffin works for Kevin because of the banana ingredient.

Suggestion move the lamp left side of couch near the door move couch over bit more to middle will level room better

So happy for your Mother getting the help. Maybe your Mother could get a wheelchair. Ron has a cane, walker and an electric buggy. Not sure if your Mother can get My Aged care like Ron and they pay for everything needs. He needed a hospital bed and a special air mattress because of bed sores falls. Worth checking for your Mother and Father. They also do meals for him. Did you say your door lock is unlocked via your phone?

The hospital got mum using a walker - which we had been trying to do for ages without success - so that's been really good. I think she also now has a shower chair. Mum definitely didn't like to admit she is getting old but she is nearly 80. So good that Ron is getting all the help he needs. You've been an amazing wife to him (which I know should be a given but it's not always the case).
