Got this fig last week. As a fan of the watchmen this hits the spot. 3rd party figs giving mezco a run for their money. This year has for sure been a year of 3rd party discovery, can’t wait for my 1/6 HOMELANDER. Mezco and sideshow better pick up the pace cause these 3rd party companies are offering heavy bangers at a fraction of the cost. Cancelled my Mezco ghost rider and ordered the 3rd party called “hell knight”. You get a huge stone diorama and it still comes out cheaper than Mezco, not to mention the bike actually looks like a sick ghost rider bike. I suggest you all take time to look into these 3rd party companies.

I've had such bad luck with Mezco's quality control issues that I gave up buying them. Now I only get Mezco knockoffs for the parts and accessories for my own kitbashing.

@@elcarajo66 thankfully I only ever had 1 fig out of about 35-40 of my mezcos have an issue. It was easily repairable as well. For me the most disappointing for the price range when it comes to QC is always mafex, they got some shoddy ass painting. Which is why I only own hush Batman and supes. Couldn’t bring myself to buy more when both had multiple qc issues at 150cad each.

Since i started collecting AF last year, I always imagine having a Rorschach's in my collection. I love Alan Moore books and characters. And watchmen is one of my favorite movies. So to have a so called "Third Party" of him and it's so perfect and beautiful it's amazing. Hopefully they make a Comedian, and Nite Owl. Probably my favorite figure I own at the moment. Great video man, love your reviews... keep them coming.

Awesome review as always, Wade! Just watching this now but as soon as I saw that you put a review up, I knew the secret on this guy would be out and he's starting to sell out everywhere. I been saying it forever, the 3rd 1/12 soft goods market has blown up like crazy the past couple years and Inkblot is shaping up to be one of the all time greats.

Awesome review! I have been on the fence about buying this one. My Lim Toys RPD officer had the same issue with the wrist peg, it actually looks exactly like the wrist peg on this figure. Not a major issue but annoying for a high dollar figure to have issues like that.

I agree with everything you said about the overcoat jacket. In my opinion,if it was any smaller or slimmer on the figure it would decrease it’s articulation which would suck.

I completely agree with you. This figure is outstanding from head to toe. And the actor’s head sculpt has to be one of the best ever in this scale. So much greatness packed in a small box, Mezco please scale down the boxes. I’ll go out on a limb and say easily my favorite figure for the first half of the year.

I love your reviews when you really love a figure. The enthusiasm and positivity is infectious. I was interested when you first posted a photo of the package but you talking about it on your live and then this review really sold me on him. I've always wanted good Watchmen figures. I did get the very first ones DC Direct did back in the day but we all know those looked cool but are also outdated statues. I can't wait this Inkblot to show up and I'm already hoping Filix Toys does versions of at least a few of the other characters.

Whilst I didn't get this figure I'm not surprised by the quality, I got their Joaquin Phoenix Joker last year and man, that thing is amazing. Also you killed it as always with the photos at the end, really captured the colours of the comic and demonstrated how much character there is to the way the figure can be posed.

Might pick this up, I recently got the filix toys Joaquin Phoenix joker and was really impressed with the quality! The Heath Ledger Joker they have coming out this year looks awesome and seems to scale even better with Mezco. The paint on that unmasked head is unreal. The eyes look so good!

Solid review m8 👌 This might be the definitive "War Shack" figure, looks like it came straight out of the comic but the head looks so much like Jackie Earle Haley. Really dope. Ngl, I'd like to see some Charlton Comics characters in figure form like this, like Peacemaker, Blue Beetle, Nightshade, etc.

The wrist pegs are Thee worst, very small and fragile other than That this thing is amazing. Just wish the Jackie earl haley headsculpt would fit mezco's freddy krueger for an easy kitbash.

I am so pissed I didn't find out about these third party companies before it was too late. The SooSooToys Hermann Rorschach looks so fuckin cool but it's sold out everywhere! This figure may have to suffice...the quality is surprisingly comparable but this one is definitely WAY smaller haha

Was looking for a reason to dislike this figure but it's not happening lol. Scale will always be a bit off across different lines but they did a great job overall! Soft goods and accessories really take it over the top for me. Great review!
