I've been able to use a newer version of Boros Energy and have been putting up decent results. Grinders just don't want to innovate anymore. I've been invoking Rule Zero at my Modern FNM and have gone 5-0 for 3 weeks now!

This may actually be my least favorite mechanic in magic. I hated it in Kaladesh, and when I saw it getting pushed hard in MH3, I still hated it. Like Tron, I look forward to the day when you can make a true/real "Unplayable" video on this deck - but I also fear for what that entails for that Modern land (or hell) scape.

I genuinely cant figure out if this is a joke or not. Boros energy is currently ~30% of the meta game share. Its clearly not underpowered. And a 1 mana exile any non land is insanely good, needing an energy each turn is not a downside here.

​@@HPuzzleYTthat's because they did nothing with pirates or raid. Pirates were all over the place with gameplay, some doing treasures others doing battle tricks, and a third being rakdos banners. Comparatively, Dinos, Merfolk, and Vampires were more cohesive.
