I always find "hacks" to be harder than actually doing what needs to be done. I love french nails but can not do them symmetrical and even to save my life. The kit was cute though and I prefer what you did. Love the cute Halloween

My daughters coffin thumbnail popped off the other day. She banged her nail on the wall in bed. It was my first attempt at polygel nails other than my practice hand and did pretty well. The half frosted, full coverage gel nail, applied over buffed, prepped nails with wiped base coat prior to application came straight off clean. I've heard that not wiping the base coat can help along with adhesion but what happens when you use a different brand to the polygel? Is there a chemical reaction that repels the two products during and after curing? How about using alcohol instead of slip?
