Reading the manga first, @@tootnoots, I knew the creator is a woman (name give it away), and I have to admit women authors tend to give their female characters more depth and they feel more 'real'. People say don’t take relationship advice from cliche anime’s but at the same time they do have one thing right. If there’s a girl you like find out what her interests are and then show interest in her interests then on top of it all after becoming acquaintances slowly increase the amount of “cute stuff” aka brownie points 9/10 it’ll work and she’ll become interested in you as well. The other 1/10 she’ll just want to be really good friends with you which is usually caused by something going on with her or if she’s currently in a relationship. But the big factor in all of this is that it takes a long time before things start taking off even years for some people. But also if you try to fake it until she likes you she’ll see right through it like how you’d see right through someone being a fake friend.
