Scrowtch education is to teach something a little bit over the average level so that you can grasp it and improve. This is like teching string theory in 3rd grade.

@@soyunbonus Not at all. He's explaining what he's doing and why he's doing it. There's nothing super complicated about what he is saying in these videos, it might be hard to apply in game but that comes down to practice. As someone who is trying to get better at the game, these videos are really handy and have actually helped me think things through more while I'm playing.

@@soyunbonus terrible comparison to be honest you're assuming what Jake teaches is too complex for the viewer to comprehend yet he has not overcomplicated anything thus far. With each action, he gives a simple explanation and it's up to the viewer to decide what they do with that information. By your example, a third-grader wouldn't even understand the information given to them and so they wouldn't even know what action to take with it.

I think 1 thing Jake can do with his doom is save his primary fire more. His engages and ability usage is really good, and he knows when to disengage and play with team, but he tends to be on one ammo count shooting into chokes quite a bit. It doesn’t do much in terms of ult generation or damage, and it just forces doom to wait slightly longer before engaging on a target.

He probably won’t lose until he reaches somewhere near masters. Maybe one with a team with connection issues and even then its still winnable. I’m a 4.5-4.6 peak player and usually thats how it goes when doing an unranked to GM. Everything is nearly always winnable due to the game sense/ mechanical difference.

I know Jake is just a cracked player but, he isn’t using comms at all. He’s just adapting to the situation whatever it may be and that’s what separates the good from the great. I noticed I was relying too much on my team so I instead just focus on what I can control: myself.
