But if ur target is to keep ur teammates alive, there are heroes that can do it better, like baptiste and kiriko, that can make them immortal or ana and moira that provide huge amount of heals. U dont play mercy to keep ur teammates alive, u play her to enable a teammate (DPs most likely or even a zenyatta). But hey, random youtube user! All supports are overtuned because the shit support players can't cope with being bad so blizzard not only gives them the same dmg potential in a 1v1 as dps and passive value (selfheal passive and heal) but also the best ults. All you need to do as support is half decent positioning and only slightly below average mechanics and you're master/gm.

@@maxpackard1952 The only difference between a t500 Mercy and a Bronze 5 Mercy is gamesense and possibly shot-calling (iffy if they even do that). That's it. No mechanic skill required. It's basically the AFK hero. No real focus is needed. People play Mercy to chill and meditate, while every other hero takes actual mechanical skill and focus. She doesn't belong in t500. It's a low skill-ceiling, not just low skill-floor.

Mercy is balanced to the same standards as every character, and therefore should have a division of players spread out across every rank according to their relative skill.
