What I love most about Alexa's music is that she doesn't try to outdo or one-up the songs she covers, and she doesn't imitate their style. She makes each song her own. When she sets the bar so high with her song and artist choices, and she succeeds at making something unique and beautiful that's hers, well... you can't not appreciate it. And on top of that, she picks some of my favorite artists. Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Portishead, and now Bjork. And she's drop dead gorgeous, that kind of radiant beautiful that makes you do a double take. But that's just a bonus. Brava, bella. Brava.
