At the MTV VMA’s, it wasn’t really a matter of people not liking The Warning. But they’re still a “new” band to a lot of people and they simply didn’t know who they were. A lot are fans now !

This is the Warning's "Eff you" song. A childhood friend told Paulina she should quit the band because it was going nowhere. This song was Paulina's response.

cheers jason bro that is so awesome to hear there is nothing more satisfying then proving the haters wrong well done Paulina smashing it on the drums eff the haters i hope her childhood friend isnt suddenly wanting to know her just because Paulina's famous
@TheUnderdogDe4 күн бұрын
@@JmaddReacts They were a lot younger when this happened and they had not yet become famous. As I recall Paulina could not hang out with her friends one night because she had to get up early and practice with her sisters and this made her friend say some things about her and her sister's ambitions that hurt Paulina's feelings. When you do something bad to Paulina and her sisters she writes a song about it. You should get the lyrics for this song and it will have an even better impact. In a way their song *"Six Feet Deep"* is about the same subject but not just that girl but haters in general that claim girls should not play rock. One of my favorite parts in this video ( _and in many more of their songs_ ) are Alejandras bass slides. Click 7:50 to understand what I mean. Their song *Survive* is not about a broken love relationship that many might think when they hear it. It's about a broken relationship with a local recording company that they started working with at a very young age. They wanted them to play mainstream music and not Rock. The sisters told them to F off and that was the end of that cooperation.

I’ve heard that one of the reasons Dany sings this song instead of Pau is that even after several years, the memory of the incident gets Pau so angry that she can’t sing properly. As many members of TWA are fond of saying, you do *not* want to get Pau mad at you. If you’re lucky she’ll just use her drumsticks on you; if you’re not she just might write a song about you.

Darn it. Just when I think I've finally settled on which song by The Warning is my one true, ultimate favorite, along comes Animosity, whispering in my ear "Hey now... remember me? Are your S U R E I'm not your fave?" and I'm once again thrown into confusion as more and more of The Warning's songs keep battling it out to become my favorite. I'm grateful to be following a band that simply doesn't know how to write throwaway songs, leaving a huge number of killer songs to play over and over. Great reaction, btw! 🤘😎🤘

The last song from The Warning you've heard is your new favorite is a common saying among fans for a reason. Pau hits extra hard on this one because it's about a friendship gone sour and this is how she answers. Ale's bass however absolutely steals it here for me, it really punches in the message!

A lot of people will suggest *The Warning - Dust To Dust / Dull Knives (Cut Better) (Live from Pepsi Center CDMX)* because it's a great performance of two great songs mixed together with a perfect transition and I also love that video. That is because I already know *WHAT* the first song should sound like. But for a first reaction to *Dust To Dust* ( _where Paulina sings lead WHILE drumming at the same time_ ) you really ought to listen to *The Warning - DUST TO DUST Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 08/29/2022* first so you better can enjoy the PEPSI performance when you can't hear all parts of the song but instead get a different ending. Two videos with three songs would be great for a reaction. You will not mind hearing D2D twice and neither will we, trust me. 😄 Pause whenever you feel like it, but press ⬅ once or twice after saying what you want to say. That will take you back 5 seconds for each time you press ⬅.

In "Animosity" the mix doesn't quite catch the awesome guitar riff in the PEPSI Center concert. I do prefer the Teatro Metropolitan version of Animosity. Dany's riff for this song is so well highlighted there. In general Ale's bass in the PEPSI Center mix seems to be heard clearer. She(Ale) did mention in a Rig Masters video that she went back to using a pre-amp boost for her bass sound to "reach-through" if I recall.
