I don't know about the track, but I've explored this in-depth (years ago) while working on my own project. Besides the myriad royalty-free (or REALLY cheap) tracks you can find, there's also plenty of serious, up-and-coming composers who, if you ask nicely, will oftentimes give you permission to use their stuff FOR FREE. My personal example was Phoenix Music's "Vindictus". Just emailed them, gushed about how much I loved the song, "Can I please, pretty please use it for my amateur project?", they were like "Sure. Let us know when it releases so we have share it around."

Despite the price I'm getting this, I've been waiting for something like this for sometime now, I just hope I'm able to achieve the same level of quality as demonstarted here, but I also understand that's user dependant, I'm excited to get started.

A friend of mine has this. Let me just say. If you are not intermediate, you will be effing lost. This is not for beginners AT ALL. They don't cover how to get unreal engine, how to install it, and they don't explain the UI. The first few lessons don't cover the types of lighting--they cover the types of render engines, and they go on and on about how you should probably use 4.27 vs 5.2 because of Path Tracing (which makes little sense to me because whenever people have done a side by side with Lumen and Path Tracing and asked me to guess which was better, I always picked Lumen--and with DLSS3 , you can render in Lumen in damn near real time and still get good results, especially if you are going to color grade in post). Also, they jump straight into blender for a little displacement landscape modeling...I mean, I am intermediate with blender, but if you have never installed a blender addon in your life and don't know how to use the UI, you would be, as I said, effing lost. Then they jump back into UE5, and they start making materials. No intro, just plugging in nodes to make a material with no ease in or explanation. I was going to buy it, but after watching the first few chapters with my friend, it is a hard pass for me. I want a ground floor to penthouse approach that also touches on Blueprints, which I am clueless about. Don't know if they cover this, but I have been told that even if you just want to do cinematics, you have to also learn the game engine side. I mean, the commercial for this class looks dope, but like I said--if you are not intermediate, don't bother.

Lessons range from about 3 minutes to around 40 minutes depending on the subject matter, but I would say most lessons clock in at around 7-10 minutes or so on average!

I demonstrate how to use your Unreal Engine render in a compositing package like After Effects or BMD Fusion so you are able to work in a full VFX/production pipeline from start to finish - this only accounts for maybe 5% of the course and is included to provide a comprehensive guide to working in a professional setting. The course result you see in the opening shot was done fully inside of Unreal Engine and you don't need After Effects or Fusion to do this course!

Everything in this course is done in UE 5.2 except for some of the beginner section (which is only about 20% of the course). This is due to some of the features I wanted to demonstrate for beginners not being fully updated/released in UE5.2 yet. However, the interfaces are essentially identical, so you will have no trouble doing the entire course in UE5.2!
