One thing that I fail to mention on the video is that in 2D blendspaces, the space is triangulated, so you're constanly blending 3 animations together with each one played at a certain weight. The weight of all three animations equals to 1.

Hey Matt, great stuff! Just discovered your channel... an immediate sub. I have a question, if you don't mind. I use UE for cinematics. Are you familiar with 'Layered Blend Per Bone'? I've seen it setup for a game character. Would you have any thoughts on how to set it up in Sequencer? If not, no worries. I've been trying to figure it out.

Hi there, thanks for being here! I am familiar with the node, but I didn’t know you could use it in Sequencer. It should be fairly similar. I’ll do my best and take a look as soon as I can and will let you know

I went with your method, only I have left, right and straight crouch and an idle crouch , but when I go to the left or right in the crouch position, which I have defined with the c key, it only moves the crouch forward movement to the left or right and the animation It does not do special sitting. In the graph section, I have only set the character variable to isCrouching. thanks a lot if you help me...
