Hey everyone! Excited to start on the blueprint series for the unreal engine 5 tutorial adventure.
In this video I go over how to change the character in the Third Person Character Blueprint, and set up the start of a custom animation blueprint for said custom character.

is there part two also do i keep adding new loco motions to add more animations and how can i use my blend space animations my run an jump look real rough sso made a blend sapce

There is a part 2 however this is part of the basics of setting up. This part is just the simple creation of an animation BP. I am going to be actually re-doing a lot of my videos soon and will be making a series on animation BPs and their functions. Blend space, more depth on using layered blend per bone, and how to set up complex anim graphs and the principles of the transition rules. But jumps can be tricky. Jumps are usually made up of 3 parts. One animation for the lift, one for the peak, and one after a certain Z velocity to bring the legs back down. I'm hoping to get started on the content recreation within the next couple of weeks as right now I am working on the channels Patreon and fighting the flu.
