Reached minute 8:00 and followed all the steps, but I am not seeing any result like in the video. Am i missing something? Running UE5.3

I'm running into issues in 5.3 as well. It looks like WorldPosition doesn't work the same way as in the video anymore.

@@tomtawadros Did you find any solution?

@@tomtawadros My problem was that it wasn't showing anything inside the preview of the Post-Process Material and it was confusing me more since the level i was in was very very far and offset from the world postiion (which returns 0,0,0). So I decided to try it in the default unreal engine basic level and surely enough when everything was connected like in the video, the sphere appeared. But unfortunately It wouldn't show in my Post-Process Material. So just try with an empty project, follow all the steps, and then simulate to see the results. Be sure to be at coordinates 0,0,0.

yo just letting everyone know instead of a tick from blueprint for the material parameter collection you can just take camera position one minus and add that to the absolute world position

Wow, all this shader stuff is so mindblowing I can only wish I could understand all that stuff. Great tutorial. BTW is there any way to apply some kind of similar mask but to a character based on custom depth or something like that? I don't know how to explain it. Imagine your character puts an arm inside a fishbowl, how would you go about making that arm wet up to the water line?

Hi, really great work here, and very understandable ! Question so, do you think it's possible to create hexagone instead of square in the "sin" part of the ppm ?

make fog of war PP setup? topdown style, instead of following the camera, follows a character? can u make this happen plz?
@karimgameil62404 жыл бұрын
Having something of the sort requires multiple masks rendered at the same time and considering how post-process blendables work, I have no idea how that is achievable. Let me know if you found anything and I'll be sure to do the same.
