The problem with a lot of KZbin channels today in showing you how to do something is they rush too fast (speaking 1000 words per minute, clicking the mouse like they are the Flash, and once you see 80% of complete they are done! Thank you so much for go over this like a real human does.

Quite a old video, but I would suggest you better drop a plane into the scene, apply the Mediaplayer material and it's anchored in the level. Chromakey can be done in the camera settings or material directly.

Hi but how do you render this composure out is it using the legacy exporter and how do you control the samples and anti aliasing in the old legacy renderer I'm so confused

Are there any sites where we could pay and instructor for 30 minutes of their time to go over this process? I'm soooo close to getting this and the HTC vive virtual camera tracking down, I would just work better if I could ask questions and someone guide me step by step.

Composure cg element is eating VRAM. Whyyyy?? ;(

Hey progress! lol So I just started trying to get Antilatency implemented into Unreal for camera tracking in the same exact way but no blueprint - any chance you're going to go the Antilatency route too? lol
@JakeGWater3 жыл бұрын
I thought about it, but not anytime soon. How much did that cost?
@thezombiefriedchickenshow22533 жыл бұрын
@@JakeGWater It costs about $950 for the tracking equipment and a 10x10 ft "sensor area" ...it is hyper smooth plug and play requiring zero tweaking - but to fully integrate it into Unreal for virtual production will take some knowledge of Unreal - possibly adding to the blueprints that they provide thats at least where I left it ...Im testing Unreal Remote 2 w an ipad mini now to see how it compares

Hi Jake, For some reason the CG element looks different than what you see in the camera. The colors look way more flat on the cg element that on your camera view, how do you fix this?

Thanks Jake. We need more step by step tutorial like yours. It helps me and a lot of people who are learning UE4. Keep up the great work.

Hi Jake, can you advise the best way to go about recording an empty cg plate (the environment) while I am recording the other feeds please? I'd like to record 3 feeds: the green screen (from my camera), the live composite (from my external monitor - atomos ninja), and most importantly, the blank plate (the virtual scene/environment) - this is the part I am struggling with. I've read you can just record the tracking of the camera in the cg plate but still a little confused. Appreciate any input. Thank you :)

Yes i am confused how to record this blank plate also

Spent literal hours watching tutorials on the subject. You're literally the first who explains how to make the compositing work when "Playing". Thanks a lot ! Now gotta find how to use the sequencer with it all on top of that.

Cool, I'm a bit intimidated to even try this, but watching you encourages me to dive in.

Thanks for the video. I was struggling with the same issue yesterday. I need to check if I get it working today!

when u make compositing on view - make a NDI blueprint on level to output NDI current window on view - start and hit F11 - now you will take the clear output from UE to OBS.

Thanks for the great tutorial... Do you know how to output composure in sequencer (when you have a live input via camlink). I have followed your tutorial to the letter, but my live feed always goes blank as it renders the movie out.

Hey Jake, thank you for your tutorial! It helped me a lot with the set up. Quick question: After you set up composure compositing, how do you record that? I tried to film myself with take recorder, but all I got is filming of the vcam actor 2(cg element) but it does not want to record the composure of the media plate and the cg layer. Thank you in advance!
@hardcorerick85142 жыл бұрын
second this! Did you figure this out? Looking for getting that comp rendered out too!
@KonstantynVL2 жыл бұрын
@@hardcorerick8514 hey 👋 yes I got some progress. I managed to film 🎥 the whole composure by dragging it to sequencer after updating to lates UE5, but after rendering it runs new issue which is you will not record it real time. So to solve that you need to get yourself AJA or BlackMagic decklink to output the composure outside of UE5 or use the OFF WORLD Spout2 plug in and send it to OBS which will create enormous files if you output video as lossless(like 7gb/min of video) hope that helps. I will be making videos on my progress 😅 so might be more helpful

@@KonstantynVL Thanks a lot for getting back to me on that, I'll give that a go! Cool to see your using the off world toolkit - i make videos on their youtube documenting my progress navigating all things VP/Virtual streamer/Unreal - I'll definitely stay updated on your progress!
