This is that classic raw hip hop sound right here. Scratching, break beats, 808 kick drum sound. I'm about to throw on my 80's style black and white Adidas track suit and the matching 3/4 high Adidas shoes to match. Thanks for posting this!

Man, I listened to about 5 seconds of this and hit the Subscribe button! The memories of over 40 years ago listening to music all night long and waking up to Run DMC and all the early rap groups that were out in the late 70s & early 80s. I had this huge black tape recorder that I would put by the radio and record music. That type of shit made me grow up, get money and keep money.

this came about on the heels of the success from the Jingling Baby remix & To Da Break Of Dawn. They did business with him that's how the whole collaboration with LL's 4th album came about. It's just that the two sides didn't have a good relationship according to Marley & then LL continued to defy them after that album.

Rush kept RUN DMC doin that rock & rap blend too long. Hip Hop was changing way too fast for that. RUN DMC could have had a longer run switching to a more urban sound. They (RUN DMC) are still the most important rap group and without them the genre wouldn't have grown as fast.

Well they didn't have any classic Run-DMC type sounding tracks on that Back From Hell album either. The album as a whole was trash so they should've put this on there being that this vibe was a lot better than the rest of the production on that album.

Every album after Raising Hell was worse than the previous one. It was a downward slope of mediocrity ending in the sad Crown Royal. The problem was they kept trying to chase the latest trend rather than sticking to their own vision. First trying to follow the gansta rap trend, then New Jack, then the "celebrity duet" thing on Crown Royal. It was sad to see.@@The_Pause_Tape_KING

@@The_Pause_Tape_KING I remember having high hopes for that album...but it only had one or two tight joints. I actually would rock "Pee apon a tree" more than anything else ..and it was only an interlude joint. That album definitely should've been another Marley comeback special. Damn shame.
