He is saying that the person who does not except the Gospel and does not repent won’t want to be in the Celestial Kingdom or be with Christ or our father in heaven. They will feel comfortable in the Telestail kingdom where Christ won’t be but only the Holy Ghost will visit.

This is exactly right. For our Protestant, Orthodox, or Catholic friends who wander into this comments section I would encourage them to read 1 Corinthians 15:40-42 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: In this section of the chapter Paul is discussing the resurrection and the bodies which exist; Celestial (sun), Terrestrial (moon), and ???(stars). We learn through modern revelation that the bodies of the glory of the stars are called Telestial. Hell isn't necessarily the destination when an unrepentant sinner declares "Get me out of here!" God has a place for all. However, unrepentant sinners, through their own choice and negligence, will have to suffer for their own sins, and will forever be in their own hell, knowing that they could have been celestial but chose not to be.

I dont understand I was a Baptist at 12 years old and discovered 1 Cor 15: 40 - 42 and God told me these were THREE HEAVENS people can get ressurected to. Which i found out studying after i heard a Baptist Sunday School teacher utter a shocking interpretation about a 3 in 1 body god called the trinity! This speech more sounds like something i heard from the Baptist church with just ONE HEAVEN WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OTHER TWO HERE?

Hello. Thank you for your question! I love it and appreciate it in so many ways! I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We believe the Book of Mormon is the word of God. We believe it is a companion to the Bible which supports and strengthens the Bible. We also believe in modern revelation and share your belief about three heavens, or degrees of heavenly glory. In a modern revelation given in 1832 God gives greater details about the three degrees of heavenly glory. I invite you to read those words for yourself. They can be found in a book called the Doctrine and Covenants section 76. The link is below. www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/76?lang=eng

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints also believes in the concept of the three degrees of Heavenly Glory, as discussed in 1 Corinthians 12 and 15. The highest degree of glory, where we can dwell forever with God the Eternal Father, is the highest degree of glory, which Paul referred to as the Celestial. We call it "The Celestial Kingdom." Sometimes in the Church, we refer to 'Heaven" and "Exaltation" without using the words "Celestial Kingdom." Sometimes it's for the sake of others who, unlike you, don't understand that there are three Degrees of Glory. Other times it may just be laziness. Just understand that when a Latter Day Saint talks about 'Heaven,' they usually mean 'the Celestial Kingdom' or the highest degree of Heaven. We also believe in modern-day revelation, that there are Prophets and Apostles on the Earth in this day and age. One of the revelations given to these prophets states "And they who are not sanctified through the law which I have given unto you, even the law of Christ, must inherit another kingdom, even that of a terrestrial kingdom, or that of a telestial kingdom. For he who is not able to abide the law of a celestial kingdom cannot abide a celestial glory." In other words, a person who rejects God will not want to remain forever in his presence. They wouldn't be able to stand it. Those are the people who will end up in the lesser kingdoms of glory: Not just because of their bad choices, but mostly because of their unwillingness to repent/change. Think of the man who was possessed by many devils in Matthew chapter 8: When Jesus came into their presence, the demons said that it was torment for them. They begged to be placed in the body of pigs so they could drown themselves, rather than have to endure the pain of being in Christ's presence. That's an extreme example, but it demonstrates the principle Brother Wilcox is talking about in this video. I hope that helps.

OK yes that does clarify some that it's not all about just about one Heaven or you go to a hell Luke the Baptist Church and well looking online I came across a statement by Brigham Young that the Star Heaven was better even than the Garden of Eden so it just makes me wonder why a Church that shares a belief about Three Heavens doesn't bring out more information and statements about the Star and Moon Heavens and such an only emphasis on the Sun Heaven because people of other Churches would be very interested in information about all Three because it offers more hope foe the after life with fewer or reduced reasons to go to a hell. More Heavenly options means fewer opposite options

We teach a celestial gospel, aka the sun heaven. Our goal is celestial. Our purpose is celestial. Our desire is celestial. The answer to the Terrestrial, or moon kingdom, is to generally be a good person and call upon God for repentance. I'm sure there are other people who would fit into this category. The Telestial, or star kingdom, is to do whatever you want. Congrats! Just by being born here you've made it. You kept your first estate in the pre-mortal life. You were not cast out with Lucifer and his followers, 1/3 of the hosts of heaven. Every person who does not repent of their sins will suffer for their own sins. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is sufficient to pay the price for all but it can't be applied unless we approach God as repentant people, with broken hearts and contrite spirits. The traditional view of hell, of a never-ending torment, will belong to those who pridefully do not repent of their sins and who will spend eternity knowing they should have.

@@HelamansArmy Yes OK but Baptists place a premium on life after Baptism. Yet when you actually go to minister INSIDE A PRISON it helps to take some real hope for any kind of Heaven and a ho hum attitude about a Star Heaven that even Brigham Young said is better than the Garden of Eden is still a Big Thing Inside a Maximum Overcrouded Prison. Is still a Big Hope to a Homeless Person trying to survive under an overpass or in an alley. HOPE MEANS DELIVERINF LIGHT TO THOSE WHO SIT IN ACTUAL DARKNESS! A Star Heaven and a Moon Heaven can be STRONG PRELIMINARY GOALS to a Sun Heaven and seem more achievable. So maybe you can remember when you are up on a podium with a Sun Heaven Life, Life Is Really Hard for a lot of people right now and Ministering Hope even if it seems a ho hum Star Heaven is still better than the Garden of Eden♥️
