Haha I finally saw this was on yesterday it made me laugh. Angel Reese has somehow fooled America into believe she is a great basketball player. As an American we unfortunately fall for people that can run their mouth, meanwhile we ignore all the facts to what the truth really is. CC could sellout 20,000 seat arenas if in this league. From what I hear that can’t fill 500 seat gyms. They should have told CC just name your price they didn’t and they tanked. Women’s basketball isn’t popular CC is popular. People need to stop this false narrative. Nobody cares about women’s basketball that doesn’t involve CC. College basketball is different it’s much better basketball with women that don’t act entitled.

Well let me help you out. Its snowing in South Florida where all the games are played. It also means fans will have to travel to FL to see the games so the money is made from the viewership. Unrivaled will grow once the states meet the criteria of how these women are treated. No player in the W is making 222K. Some teams don't have training rooms, spas, nutrition therapy, healthcare all to take care of the players. Room and board is provided to make it easy for players to travel and workout. Plus they are sponsored by businesses and even college athletes have invested in them. Unrivaled has done what should have been done for WBB after Sheryl Swoopes got her 150K contract.

Unrivaled is about keeping the women here something the W has not been able to do by short changing them. How is it that players prior to the hiring of the Commissioner was making more money than the present day players? It suppose to be the #1 draft pick gets the large payday. The system is broken when the #1 pick of 1997 made 150K and the #1 pick on 2024 made 70+ K. the difference is the #1 pick in 1997 has 3 chips to show for it.

I don't think ratings drop is because of only Angel Reese. The whole sucks, sorry to say. It is boring and slow. A half court game may have been a better option. Full court is not a good look for a 3x3 game. Granted I haven't even tried to watch a full game but the hi-lights aren't hi-lights and a lot of it is them missing layups. Not only Angel but players that have been in the league for some time. I am not an Angel fan but blame can't fall on only her. CC definitly made the right call and of course she has the $$$ to support her and these ladies didn't. True they could have gone overseas but can't blame them. To pay them six figures is pretty uhm yeah... I'd rather watch high school ball then this Unrivaled. Will there be a second year? Lets see what happens during the playoffs and maybe viewership will rise.
