I have happened to meet lots of Afghani Hindu and Sikh people in Moscow whose families were initially allowed to live mainly in Faridabad, Haryana area. Unfortunately for these Afghani Hindu and Sikh guys who were working in Moscow, it was very difficult to get an Indian visa and stay with their families. Purely from my personal experience with them, I support CAA, even if SG sir keeps mixing NRC and CAA.

The reason why the media keeps saying 2014 is the deadline is that when the bill was passed in December 2019 minorities living in India since 2014 became eligible for citizenship. 2019 - 5 = 2014. Now the "deadline" is 2015 and next year it will be 2016 and so on.

Just that normal immigration laws will apply, i.e 10+1 years to become an Indian citizen. For these persecuted minorites, only 5+1 years will be required for naturalization. Also, if you think is exactly what promotes inequality, then hear me out. Muslims took a separate piece of land citing " Muslims can't live with Hindus". My family is also a Hindu Khatri family and my ancestors resided near the Kailash mountains in mordern day Pakistan and Karachi ( my mother's side ). Thankfully my grandfather and grandmother had gone to visit the golden temple and our family was saved. The part which was there couldn't come back and later their skeletal remains were identified. These Sikhs were original natives of Afghan lands but now they have been forced to leave their homeland due to harsh ideology that will make their life very difficult . Even if Taliban leadership are tolerant to them , they will still face attacks from street rogues who will never get prosecuted. At its peak Sikhs were the second largest religion in Afghanistan around 18th century and they even conducted successful raids on Kabul in 19th century. Khalistan is where Pakistani Punjab & Derajat is now.

Vai CAA k wajah se citizenship pane me 11 sal ke wajah 5 sal lagega (for those living in 3 countries with 6 religio) bill passed in 2019, So 2019 - 5 = 2014 So 2014 is not the cutoff date, it's chages... Actually there is no cutoff date... So who came in 2015 will get the citizenship in 2020 and so on ( viz the condition).. And this incident nothing to do with CAA. But this also shows the need of CAA.

Problem is that everyone uses religion to justify their own intentions/behaviour. like how indian parents ( of all religion) use it for keeping children in check ( ladki ho adab se raho , sanskaar me raho ), at the same time in islam caste is strictly forbiddon but no one cares, in islam if ur neighbor sleeps without having food( due to lack of resources) its a sin for u. all examples of prophet were about treating muslims and non muslims with respect and not grudge. now in afghanistan ( after religion was invoked to recruit force against soviet) , the public psyche has changed and they just learnt about all the negative things selectively. so yes, and no. they are muslims as they believe that they are, they recite quran. but they are not remotely doing anything islamic. islam is supposed to be about peace ( the word literally derives its meaning from peace) and these countries are not peaceful ( their general populace is, ruling / militants are not). so i cant draw a line. but i can say its not right in any sense of the word.

And to answer ur question of decent muslim majority countries,pick literally every single country except war form Afghanistan, Syria Iraq , civil war torn African countries, and Pakistan. all the 5 Central Asian countries that also happen to have similar ethnicities as Afghanistan (5 stans - kazak uzbek turk taji kyrgyz) are pretty liberal with sizeable minorities. Indonesia Malaysia. Malaysia is racist but still peaceful enough, although they also have conservative nationalism now. Indonesia which has close to 90% muslims, have large hindu , Christian majority islands with harmony ( kisi bhi Indian youtuber ka vlod dekh lena jo in islands pe gaya ho ) , even Jakarta had Christian mayor recently . It's not ideal and one two instances of violence against ahmadiya is there every year but thats an exception. Gulf countries except Iraq , indians go live earn and be a part of their society with dignity and respect. Officially they award our head of states like modi ji with highest honours. And to keep peace intact they didn't let Pakistan use Kashmir issue to stir up any tensions. Uae , Kuwait ,Bahrain ,qatar , Saudi ,oman etc have indians from high skill doctors to low skill domestic help. Without any discrimination on religious basis. In western parts, Azerbaijan is knowsn for its tolerance.it is the only non Jewish country where a large jew population lives peacefully. And Christians and others too. Turkey is secular and progressive despite being 95% muslim. Yes they have Kurd issue but it's linked to saperatist movement. Let me clear it. I am not defending Islam. All religions with billions of members in history , have done terrible Stuff time to time due to sick mentality of followers not religions. My point is. Humanity remains. And please don't stereotype. And my request is to read about the reasons of violence. It always comes down to two things - lack of resources , greedy leader ( who uses propoganda). Peace ✌️
