Hey there, very nice video and blog. Me and my Sister are also planning to visit Palampur and hire a scooter to to roam around the valley and Bir Billing etc and was wondering if the hill roads are safe to ride there and you went there on scooter? Did you guys switch off the engine on downslopes and rode on downhill there? Need some tips, Regards, Kusum

Hey Kusum, Thank you for liking the vlog! Yes, riding a scooter is super fun and safe. Just make sure to always wear a helmet and keep enough petrol in your vehicle, as petrol pumps are often far apart. It’s up to you whether you want to switch off the engine on downhill stretches. We weren’t racing at that time, just letting the scooter coast. All the best for your trip!
