That’s a lovely video, and very nice to see the old tradition of the bridesmaids walking behind the bride to take care of her dress, and then take their seats. It used to be that only the flower girl walked in front. I’ve been to weddings in recent years where all the bridesmaids walk into the church in front of the bride, take their seats and the bride follows, usually resulting in the bride’s mother having to step forward to make any necessary adjustments to the bride’s dress! My daughter has said that when she and her fiancé marry later this year in our local chapel, she will follow tradition and the reception will be in the village hall, with bunting and flowers, and without all the expensive and unnecessary tat that is so popular now. I’m sure the wedding will be lovely, whatever the weather… and I certainly will be wearing a hat with my outfit 🎉
