Srinagar is very near the Pakistani border, and not too far from Islamabad. What compelled you to go there?

Kashmir had been on my list for a while and Srinagar is a good base if you want to travel around Kashmir. Since childhood we've seen a lot of films shot in Kashmir, a lot of news so there was always curiosity to go check out the place.
