I feel the SWAC is back! They got our Bandheads on a swivel this year. 🌊cean for the WIN in this battle mane!It wasn't even close. Pv is better than last year. I see they chiseled off some hornholders, but they still got some iceskaters out there in hot Waller county.They on the right track though. The best Pv section goes out to those trombones. Txsu Trombones O.E. are playing like the from another galaxy mane!🔥🔥🔥 Pv that Bob Marley was good, but it would've hit differently in the Zero bro. TXSU sound good 🤌🏽✨. SU and TXSU seem like the only recruit 1st-trumpets lol! Very rarely do I hear 2nd and 3rd trumpet variations in their arrangements like other bands. They double a lot with the mellos too; that’s the trick I see.

They have harmonies in every section. They use beyond 3 part harmony for the trombones where needed and harmony chords in mellophone and even for euphoniums by themselves.

@@sordidC true, but sometimes it doesn’t sound like it. Either way, they sound good. I enjoyed their arrangements more than PV’s; however… PV had a couple of great arrangements as well. There was no clear winner to me. Def a battle.
