Unseen Until It’s Touched by Breath | Generative Dust Ambient ~ [Eikotheque card 003]

The man watched as white flakes of snow, drifting through the barely moving air, disappeared into the lingering warmth of the earth.
Standing on the threshold, he felt as if snow was falling inside his heart, settling around him with the soft hiss of tiny, burning sparks of sorrow.
The snow sought neither ground nor rest, yet each flake fell perfectly into place, only to vanish forever. The man realized that somewhere within him, there had always been winter-not cold, not lonely, but pure, like this first snow.
Eikotheque [εἰκών - illustration, θήκη - repository] - a project within the framework of the YT-label "Hoopoe Nook Archives" which represents attempts to convey in sound the sensations and feelings arising from various kinds of images or, on the contrary, to select the most suitable image for the soundscape in the composer's opinion, and to verbalize this combination. In this music, something is always happening, yet nothing truly changes. This sense of four-dimensionality-a dynamic stillness within the soundscape, paired with the image, the track's title, and a brief story, often disconnected from each other-unfolds into a new subjective experience, one that feels richer and deeper than the sum of its parts.
