This happened in 2001, In London, In the Thames river where the torso of a young African boy was seen floating by an unsuspecting passerby. This tragic true crime is full of twist and turns with a very unsatisfactory ending.

Hearing the man say "one more tide and the body would have been washed out" and no one would have known anything at all, makes me think "so have there been others that no one has indeed known about"? It's a frightening thought, but if it's gone this far, surely he couldn't be the only one.

@@AVeryNigerianCrime how sad.. I'm sure I saw something about this case a while back. Some things are so awful, you'd like to think they couldn't happen. Thank you for putting an interesting presentation together and bringing light to the topic.

This happened days after I moved to the UK from Nigeria also as a child. I remember watching the news knowing very well it was a Nigerian affair and this case has stuck with me since. I hope they find what really happened to him. This boy has never been formally identified. Just sad and why I encourage black folks to use gene search sites as it could help find relatives of unsolved murder victims.

That’s actually a good idea .. although unsolved , it would be comforting for him to at least reclaim his name , at least his real name .

Such a sad story. If indeed Adam was killed for a ritual, do you think it was a similar motive as the case of the "Ibadan forest of horror" in Soka Forest? Will you do a video on the latter subject?

Was there no DNA testing to see if Adam may have been Joyce's son?? They were from the same city after all. Did they not want to interview her daugther's too?
