Swans are white (I mean in japanese they're litterally called white birds (白鳥 Hakuchou)) and her real name is Swan Shiratori (スワン白鳥 Suwan Shiratori) and yes Shiratori is written the same way as the word for swan since the first is full on'yomi and the second is full kun'yomi. So Kat is white ranger, but your joke isn't fucked up because she has a good part of orange on her and even the wiki classifies her as debatable orange.

I can already see how they could adapt the train theme. Basically, in my vision of the adaptation, the 5 destined teens stumble upon this old abandoned underground train station out in the woods. What makes this train station special is that it’s connected to the Morphin Grid, and it acts as a nexus point in the multi-verse, which people used to travel between universes with. Keyword here being used. Nobody really uses it anymore as traversing the multi-verse went out of style, just like coal powered trains. However, it is still of great value because if someone evil were to take it over, no one can stop them from multiversal domination, so the season’s mentor recruits the 5 kids to defend the station, and the world, at all costs from the season’s villain.

It's always baffling to me that the Dino Charge Sentai had Rangers with such similar colours like Silver & Grey and Blue & Aqua, but didn't do Orange. Or yellow, a constant Ranger colour.

yellow was a secondary color on almost everything. Their morphers, suits, zords, weapons and even dino chargers had yellow on them. It would've been weird to make a ranger that doesn't have a secondary color. They could have made the yellow ranger have a different color but that would be weird considering the main 5 have yellow as their color. If they made yellow an auxiliary ranger, that would honestly just be weird.

As far as Im aware the only Brown ranger in Japan is Ryusoul Brown for a single episode of Ryusoulger. There was the self declared Shinken Brown in Shinkenger and Ground-Stealth Captor 4 in Ninja Captor which was at one point considered a sentai.

I have watched almost all of the super sentai series. The only ones that I skipped were the ones that were too old. They should make a power rangers series for Toqger, Zyuoger and Kyuranger. They also skipped Lupinranger vs Patranger that’s also one of the best series. It would be interesting to see what thay do with those series. Hope that they don’t mess up the stories too much. The power rangers series that I really loved was RPM. True they changed the story completely but it was actually very interesting change in story. The other power rangers series that I liked were Jungle Fury, SPD, Ninja Steel (season one not super that was not good), and Beast Morphers (they changed the story completely but it was just as interesting as the Sentai version). The worst power rangers series that I actually watched was the one they made by combining two super sentai series (Gokaiger and Goseiger) Power rangers Mega Force. Because the original series (both of them) were one the best series in super sentai.

The only main team orange Sentai rangers were Battle Cossak, Flower Ninja Yuri (who you forgot to mention), Sasori Orange and ToQ #1 (using a transfer change), ToQ #6 is a sixth ranger and Zyuoh Bird is a temporary extra ranger. Saying he's a main team member is like saying DekaSwan, DekaBright or DekaGold were main team members.

I'm from a town called Syracuse, NY where we have a local college with sports teams. They are called the Syracuse Orange. We love Orange here, everywhere you go you see it. For over 20 years we have be nearly begging for an Orange ranger. Several years ago I bought a full MMPR White ranger suite with helmet and dyed it orange to wear to games. People loved it..

In the old '94 or '95 comic series bulk and skull also disguised themselves as power rangers for just a few penals. The interesting part is that, just like in the modern comic, bulk's costume was violet and skulls was orange.

Here's an idea for a mystery video. Why the heck was King Sphinx on pretty much every MMPR merchandise when he was only even in 1 or 2 episodes?! He didn't even get a legitimate action figure, just a statuesque vinyl figure but if you look at early mmpr merch he was EVERYWHERE.

You forgot Sir Lancelot from Power Rangers Hyperforce. Even though we never see him morphed, he does possess an Orange gem that hinted he does morph into a Orange Battle Knight.

They finally had an Orange Ranger named Fern, in the final season of Power Rangers, season 30: Cosmic Fury. It is a shame they waited until the last season of the original continuity before using the long forsaken color. Considering the reboot has been cancelled many times, we might not see the reboot until 2026 or later, and who knows if they will use Orange in the reboot!

You might want to look at this from color theory perspective. Color theory is used in many aspects of design. It has a range from graphic design like posters, websites and such, to toy design and even television. Certain colors do well with each other and colors can even have meaning (green for jealousy or nature, yellow for fear, pink is girly, etc.). In American comic books, colors have meaning based on their place on the color wheel. Primary colors (red, blue and yellow) represent heroes, where secondary colors (orange, green and purple) are villain (or anti hero) colors. I'm not sure what the super sentai creators used as a reason to pick their colors, but they might have left out orange because of meaning or because it was too close to yellow or red on the color wheel.
