What a smorgasbord of storror and I'm glad I recommended them to you! They're all so good, it's hard for me to pick a fave! I loved the evil experiment ASMR sound design and body horror of Carbon Steel. The monstrosity of Concrete Tremor is so brutal... and Tartarus Engine's ending is just so horrible.

VOD gang, reporting in. Regarding how lasik works, I got it a few years ago and love telling the story. Especially appropriate given that it's spooky season. When you get lasik in the military, they don't use anesthesia, so you're awake the whole time.They gave me numbing eye-drops, which was a really interesting feeling. Like being sleepy without being sleepy. Then when it was time for the procedure they laid me back, applied some eye holders to keep my eyelids open, then told me to stare at a small red light in the machine. The machine started up and lowered A SUCTION CUP ONTO MY EYE. There was pressure, my vision faded out, then snapped back when everything equalized. Can't move your eye if there is a suction cup holding it in place! A fancy laser cut a flap into my eye, the doc pulled the flap back, then the actual adjustment laser carved up my eye or whatever. Smelled vaguely like burnt hair, and took all of maybe 5 seconds. But man, I felt like Isaac from Dead Space while everything was happening. Anyway, that's how they keep you from messing up things up by looking around. Lasik is crazy.

I found the same Lasik subreddit but like four years after I had lasik done and it freaks me out too lol. I have ZERO regrets from the surgery. Ask your doctor about your corneal strength and if PTK would be better than lasik and youll be fine. But definitely talk to an optometrist that doesnt do lasik first

Those were an interesting set of games, not gonna lie. Definitely can see the Buckshot feel in it. I will say, since Persona was mentioned, and I've been playing it, if you were considering Persona 3 Reload, I'm not sure how much that particular one may appeal to your tastes unless you like a looooot of dialogue that's KINDA VN-esque?? It's not a BAD game, by any means, but probably not something that'll fit your tastes. Can always try though! Also if you're gonna do the thing tomorrow, should probably make sure that wires and stuff aren't gonna be an issue, yes? Don't want your (or anything else around you) getting broken up on accident!

talking about snail during SC reading reminded me: watched TV at my parents place and a show about one of our larger zoos was on tv. there was a cute, black cat that immediately reminded me of snail (though green-ish eyes instead of yellow). apparently that cat appeared in the zoo one day and got "adopted" by the black bears. now, ~14 years later, the female bear that was like her mom had already died a couple years earlier, but since then she started hanging out and cuddling with the caretakers.

Honestly, great stream. For a free game this was fantastic. Has the right amount of horror and the perfect taste of mystery. A little bit of a shame the month of spooks is close to it's climax, but at least we'll have October 2 for more fun and hopefully Alien Isolation with Gigi if the perms get sorted.
