When he said he thought more of the mistakes he's done than the good things is a mindset that I really hate and struggle with. Its sad to see the guy I used to shout his name whenever he gets the ball go through this. Hey Manu if you see this comment, I want you to know you weren't/aren't the only one going through this, but I want you to know because you are and idol of my mine and to many others out there, seeing you still striving through life makes us wanna strive the same as you. This interview was so motivational, thank you to the host and to everyone that made this happen. Subscribed instantly looking forward to future interviews!!! Stay positive and strong everyone UP THE WAHS!!!! 💯

Sione, I was so impressed by the way in which you conducted this emotional interview that I liked and subscribed immediately. The love and respect that you showed to Manu proves that you are a blessing to others. As a guy that came from a broken home whilst living in a state house in Porirua and having nothing, I have now been working as a Prison Officer in Perth for nearly 25 years. I have seen the best and worst of society. Manu, even after 25 years of working in maximum security, I don't look down on you. In fact, I am more inspired by you now than when you were wreaking havoc down the sideline. You definitely have the goods to rise to the top in your next chapter of life and I look forward to hearing all about it. I have been going through some crazy stuff lately and really needed to see this podcast. Thanks heaps Sione and Manu🙏

I'm not going to judge this guy, but I'm also not going to praise him, just because he was a sporting idol in NZ.. Just want to try and put into context here. The damage and hurt that people like him do to society is irreparable. The main driving force is predominantly greed. As a proud American Polynesian growing up in the tough neighbourhoods of San Bernardino, California, and witnessing first hand the destruction that these drugs can do to individuals, families and society causes utter devastation. Witnessing people hooked on the drugs these guy's peddle. Users turning to crime eg killings, robberies, home invasions etc to finance their addictions. Although he was once a sporting role model. That shouldn't give him a free pass. However i do applaud him for being brave enough too front up to the camera, and i sincerely hope he's realised the errors of his ways. Time will tell, I'll reserve my judgement.

I had no idea what to expect when I put this on. But I really appreciate the honesty in Manu’s responses. But also love Sione’s heavy and hard hitting questions. This was such a great interview so raw that I found myself tearing up for Manu. Manu you are so loved not just by your family and friends but also the community around you. Thank you for opening up yourself to us. I know it would have been very hard, but this will reach a young man out there also struggling. Thank you gentlemen. I literally had to pull the car over to write this and compose myself because I was so emotional for Manu. You will always be a legend mate.

As we all do as Men , helps us all identify the most familiar things we battle through in this life. We need to really sit down and unpack alot of mental emotions we go through . Its not whats on the outside , cause we carry it like a shield of protection that we as men are afraid to indulge in or feel vulnerable. It takes a heart to heal and fulfill another heart so in seeing this we appreciate our brothers/fathers for having the courage to sit down and talk about it our issues .

You’re not a bad person, you just made some bad choices but that doesn’t define the good person that you are. We all make bad choices but it’s what we can learn and take from it that matters. Pure conversations. We as a people don't talk enough, yeah it's a man thing but most importantly a generational thing. My parent's never talked to me about life, it was always discipline, right and wrong but no actual conversations so a young mind could understand what the real world held. And their parents were the same. Thats why most of us can't really express ourselves and turn to negative outlets. Unfortunately for most of us, that would be alcohol and drugs or crime. This right here is what we need more of. Thank you usos for the pure conversations.
