{ excuse the horrific popping noise with majority of the audio clips, I tried everything to fix it in the end but for whatever reason it just wouldn't work (it seems to be a common issue in all my DC shows even tho watching it normally works perfectly fine) - so I defo do not recommend watching the video at max volume }
Look at me, doing a monthly edit, now who would have thought that would happen. Not me XD.
So I had let you guys vote via my community tab (which I am trying to remain more active and keep you guys up to date) on whether you wanted to see me remake some of my older videos and from the 4 votes I got, it seemed majority wanted this. And ngl it would have been so silly to not start on the one edit that kind of blew up on my channel back in the day.
I adored the original concept of this video and had wanted to recreate it for a while now with updated footage and a clearly focus on Kara's struggle with embracing her humanity and the inner conflict between Supergirl and Kara. Now whilst I would have loved to include more stuff, I didn't want to over stuff the edit, so I decided that I would focus moreso on her relationships that tethers her to her humanity and make her who she is. And I have to say, I am so happy with the narrative created. And with the variation of clips both from the previous edit and newer clips from seasons that weren't even out, I feel like this edit serves as a nice little tribute to the woman who showed me hope and compassion and love.
Maybe in another six years time I will remake this edit and finally make it as perfect as I wanted it to be with less audio issues. But for now, I am happy with 95% of the outcome of this edit and really wanted to post something in honour of my birthday (which yes, was the beginning of the month but we don't talk about that bit haha).

Wrote it in the caption and my community tab, but I thought I would also write it here: Excuse the horrific popping constantly appearing in the audio, no matter what I did to try and fix the issue it just wouldn't go away. I have had this edit done since the middle of April and have been holding off posting praying I could fix the glitch but it just never seemed to want to play ball. And I knew if I didn't post this, I was not gonna be posting the rest of the year haha. So hopefully you guys won't crucify me too much since I honestly did try my hardest (and trust me, the popping is a lot better than it was before).
