8:02 haaha I was just listening to this while doing some school work and I was like, 'Oh, I clicked on an old video?' - thanks for the reassurance, Matt! 14:04 in your defense, October SHOULD be the 8th month, as 'oct' is a root for 8, 'nov' is a root for 9, and 'dec' is a root for 10 ('sep' being a root for 7, of course). We inserted 2 more months and chaos has ensued. 30:30 not 100% planned, but right now, I save for 3 different uncomplicated savings challenges (i.e., the high temp for the day on the 1st of the month, look at bank balance on the first and save the last 4 digits of it, etc) that I didn't have a plan for. My current tentative plan is to take those put together, divide it by 12, and then over the course of the next 12 months, start a CD ladder. So, the money I saved for 2024 for those challenges would open 2025's initial accounts, and then save those challenges again next year (or some like it) for 2025 and then for 2026 divide THAT amount saved up to add to it for each month. In my mind, it works, and if along the way that $ needed a job besides 'sit in savings' and some months got less, oh well. 35:47 hahaha. And you're NOT bragging! you've worked really hard to put yourself in a spot where you can have these extra things to give to! you're m o t i v a t i n g ! Nice job!

This is the first year I have planned ahead. My small goal is to save 1k per month. And also save all the bonus money we get. But I have a hard time not using the money I put in the envelopes. So what I did is I bought some clear saving boxes that you cannot touch the money until you are done with your goal. I would have to break it 😅. I prefer this method.

Hello! My MIL’s birthday is Halloween. The Roth IRA is looking good. Oh Matt you leave my friend alone lol! She can be off her rocker some, she’s not hurting anybody 🤣🤣!
