As someone who grew up diagnosed with ASD from the age of 4 it was never easy for myself and my family. But it is no lie when i say that having the undying love and support from my family has helped me do and accomplish things that myself and many others never thought possible. It absolutely makes my day knowing that your son has such a loving and supporting family as well because there are many people that dont. That are left in the dark about themselves and how to deal with many things that we as people on the spectrum may struggle with. Im sure i dont need to tell you this but keep loving your son and give him the patience he needs. Being "flexible" and "learning to change" arent exactly our strong suits. But things have been better lately even reached 150k+ on my IG which has given me a lot to focus on and work towards. So i'm at the part of the video where Donut asks "what's our group name" in the investigation about us... and i remembered a story that seems appropriate. A vankleek hill, Ontario, Canada Arms dealer called Marstar got its offices raided along with the homes of all the owners/partners, many of whom are gunsmiths. Its hard to find news articles about the raid because it was a rather expensive fiasco in the end. So backstory was that a canadian horror movie called Nightbreed had these scenes involving a ficticious town militia group and the needed prop firearms to shoot those scenes. Marstar provided the guns, and they shipped them out by bonded courier in plain wooden crates. Movie filming finishes, they send the guns back. But they never arrived. Marstar phones courier company, phones the movie production team, but keeps being given a runaround and can't find out where their fully functional (and expensive) firearms have vanished to. And for context, they deal in a lot of surplus military firearms including the fully transferable if you have the right credentials automatic ones. Hell they used to sell non-restricted category semi-auto only M2 .50 BMGs with M3 tripods for $10,000 CAD complete with spade grips. So apparently the militia group in this horror movie were called the "Sons of freedom" and the film crew spray painted that name on those wooden shipping crates for the guns, which were used to ship them back also. Except they were still labeled with the militia group name. Somewhere in the transit back, the police got an annonymous tip about the crates, opened an investigation, got a warrant and seized the shipment, because apparently there was a well armed militia group in vankleek hill area they had ZERO intel on until that moment called the sons of freedom. Six figures were spent invetigating, putting a multi-agency swat team together, to do simultaneous raids, in which they trashed the home and home musical studio of one of the company owners, and this is a guy who was friends with politicians and lawyers including several prime ministers from both main political parties (at a summer party at his house, i shook hands with former liberal prime minister Pierre Trudeau and apparently the year prior former progressive conservative PM Brian Mulroney attended). And in the end, i don't know if there ever was an apology or compensation for the damages, but was basically a big embarassment for the RCMP and OPP (so essentially FBI and state police equivalent) so they seemed to have gone out of their way to cover it up, which included NOT doing a post raid media brief when they had no charges to lay and a big case of egg on their face.

Donut, igloos only work at very low temps with a particular now type. They usually have a smoke hole to let the smoke out. Snow is an excellent insulator, the inner layer melts and refreezes and turns to a reflector to keep the heat in. They didn't usually use a fire tho, as there isn't much wood up there, whale oil candles were more common. The door goes to the lower level to let fresh air in and they sleep above the door where it's warmer. I've tried to build one, as a kid, but didn't have the right snow. Steve Wallace is a Canadian gem. His wife died unexpectedly in her sleep. His video partner, Crazy Neighbor, just died of cancer. He does a lot of stealth camping in public places.

Bro Eli you gotta stop making me tear up like this man, I wasn’t ready for having my heart strings pulled this hard while looking to hear my weekly dose of degenerate banter. Proud of you though bro.

34:51 for another Rick and Morty ref. Donut: “It’s ok to bully journalists, they’re robots.” Me: *bullies journalists* “Uh, they’re not robots, Donut.” Donut: “It’s a figure of speech, Levi. They’re journalists, I don’t respect them. Just keep bullying.”

I remember getting an Oddesy 3000 which was Atari like but it had a keypad/board built into the base and the Atari like joystick and one button controller, then getting an NES and my mind being blown on how different the two systems were.

Camping with Steve’s channel is absolutely a must view channel. Been watching him for years. He’s gone through a lot, losing his wife, and “Crazy Neigbor” one of his best friends on his videos, but he’s still making really good content man.

1:10:34 Steve Wallis, or Wallace. He’s a Canadian guy. The neighbor he had as a guest sometimes also passed away recently.
