As someone who grew up diagnosed with ASD from the age of 4 it was never easy for myself and my family. But it is no lie when i say that having the undying love and support from my family has helped me do and accomplish things that myself and many others never thought possible. It absolutely makes my day knowing that your son has such a loving and supporting family as well because there are many people that dont. That are left in the dark about themselves and how to deal with many things that we as people on the spectrum may struggle with. Im sure i dont need to tell you this but keep loving your son and give him the patience he needs. Being "flexible" and "learning to change" arent exactly our strong suits. For better or worse, much to my mothers frustration lol.

Bro now that’s dope, I love that your spreading awareness for autism and donating to an autistim charity. As someone with autism myself it’s really cool to see because I never hear many people donating to autism charities. So much love man 🙌🙌🙌🙌 dealing with autism is hard at times especially the anxiety and stress I get and the depression. I’ve been suicidal for so many years dealing with it. But things have been better lately even reached 150k+ on my IG which has given me a lot to focus on and work towards. Which definitely helps because I’ve never been able to work normal jobs long because of how bad my anxiety is which led to me being really depressed and suicidal. So it’s cool to see how much your doing for your son with autism bro 🙏🙌

It's amazing that you've raised so much for the charities, but I also wonder how many positive conversations have been sparked by other people openly declaring their support for those with autism. So i'm at the part of the video where Donut asks "what's our group name" in the investigation about us... and i remembered a story that seems appropriate. A vankleek hill, Ontario, Canada Arms dealer called Marstar got its offices raided along with the homes of all the owners/partners, many of whom are gunsmiths. Its hard to find news articles about the raid because it was a rather expensive fiasco in the end. So backstory was that a canadian horror movie called Nightbreed had these scenes involving a ficticious town militia group and the needed prop firearms to shoot those scenes. Marstar provided the guns, and they shipped them out by bonded courier in plain wooden crates. Movie filming finishes, they send the guns back. But they never arrived. Marstar phones courier company, phones the movie production team, but keeps being given a runaround and can't find out where their fully functional (and expensive) firearms have vanished to. And for context, they deal in a lot of surplus military firearms including the fully transferable if you have the right credentials automatic ones. Hell they used to sell non-restricted category semi-auto only M2 .50 BMGs with M3 tripods for $10,000 CAD complete with spade grips. So apparently the militia group in this horror movie were called the "Sons of freedom" and the film crew spray painted that name on those wooden shipping crates for the guns, which were used to ship them back also. Except they were still labeled with the militia group name. Somewhere in the transit back, the police got an annonymous tip about the crates, opened an investigation, got a warrant and seized the shipment, because apparently there was a well armed militia group in vankleek hill area they had ZERO intel on until that moment called the sons of freedom. Six figures were spent invetigating, putting a multi-agency swat team together, to do simultaneous raids, in which they trashed the home and home musical studio of one of the company owners, and this is a guy who was friends with politicians and lawyers including several prime ministers from both main political parties (at a summer party at his house, i shook hands with former liberal prime minister Pierre Trudeau and apparently the year prior former progressive conservative PM Brian Mulroney attended). And in the end, i don't know if there ever was an apology or compensation for the damages, but was basically a big embarassment for the RCMP and OPP (so essentially FBI and state police equivalent) so they seemed to have gone out of their way to cover it up, which included NOT doing a post raid media brief when they had no charges to lay and a big case of egg on their face.

Glad to have made my small impact in your donations man. My mom loves her full metal spectrum shirt, and I had to pin my tism touch shirt on my wall so I don't turn it into a work shirt. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride, and making us feel like a part of the boys. I can't wait to see what's next.

Don't worry, Straw Boss is also a term in old threshing work. You had the steam boss on the tractor, the wagon boss managing the grain going into the thresher, and the straw boss was the guy making sure the straw out the back doesn't pile too high. The straw boss is still one of the "bosses", but it's a job with no authority cause nobody cares about the straw piles.

As a 16 year old with Autism Spectrum Disorder+ADHD combined type I thank everyone who is donating to this cause, and I will say though that I am lucky to have high functioning which means I can live on my own perfectly fine and it's almost unnoticeable since I can hide it so well. I also want to thank the UnsubscribePodcast for making these videos, the donkey one really caught me off guard and I bursted laughing. I even showed that part to my dad who was in the USMC for 20 years and served in both Iran and Afghanistan and even he laughed a bit lmfaoo.

Message directly to Eli With all do respect, although I wasn’t able to donate, and being one of the people that is different (which I know isn’t a bad thing) I appreciate everything you’ve done for the autism community. You’re pretty damn amazing too man.

Eli’s opening touched my heart, I almost cried. I have friends who have kids with Autism and I see how it effects Families and what the go through. I empathize with them. It is not easy and I pray every day for them and families with children that have autism. I think we could raise more money next time.

Donut, igloos only work at very low temps with a particular now type. They usually have a smoke hole to let the smoke out. Snow is an excellent insulator, the inner layer melts and refreezes and turns to a reflector to keep the heat in. They didn't usually use a fire tho, as there isn't much wood up there, whale oil candles were more common. The door goes to the lower level to let fresh air in and they sleep above the door where it's warmer. I've tried to build one, as a kid, but didn't have the right snow. Steve Wallace is a Canadian gem. His wife died unexpectedly in her sleep. His video partner, Crazy Neighbor, just died of cancer. He does a lot of stealth camping in public places.
