The full story of why vector truly couldn’t produce more cars was a bit more climactic with some interesting characters. Tommy Suharto the son of famous Indonesian dictator Suharto was very interested in vector and was a big investor along with my late father. When Lamborghini caught wind of Suharto’s involvement THE Ferdinand Piëch had abruptly stopped selling them engines. Vector could have kept going almost no matter what due to the support it had even if the only sold a couple cars every year. C'mon...the M12 was a poor WX3 replica with a Lamborghini V12 engine. Everything after Weigert just isn't a true Vector. They tossed out the whole philosophy of aerospace technology in an automobile & tried to do it on the cheap. The SRV8 is really a last gasp development car & shouldn't be looked at as a production car.
