The Porsche Indy project of the late 80's & early 90's died with Al Holbert... Yet interestingly A.J. Foyt owned and won in a Porsche 962 in IMSA competition

You just pronounce USAC and CART as they are spelled. They are acronyms. Also, the history of Indy is very interesting with some amazing, sustained high speed racing. It’s ok to be a fan.

Interscope is a whole story unto itself! I was going to say that interscope was a sponsoring media company (record label particularly), but you're right. Much of the racing stuff was developed and funded under the name before the media company was created. Guy is a Marshall Field (American clothing retailer) heir

Love this series. Been listening in the background while I work. You've probably already learned this since making this video, but USAC and CART are typically pronounced as acronyms rather than spelled out (YOU-sack, and cart).

It shows that your not a fan of Indycar, you need to get the pronunciation on the names correct and don't spell out the abbreviations.
