I was just gonna say The Stranger in God of War but yeah I just started the game after replaying the entire series in Chronological order.

I just watched " Locusts " which was great. He plays a son who cracks up and gets sent away when his father hangs himself. The movie seems simple at first but it turns into something twisted and very psychologically complex. I highly recommend it. I think Jeremy is rather a real strange bird in real life but I hope he wouldn't hurt a fly in real life. Thanks for making this video.

My cousin Jeff was roomates with Jeremy. I visited him in 1990-91 before he was famous. He showed me his demo tape of commercials he did at the time. Check hime out in movie GUN CRAZY with Drew Barymore. Great film.

No, the guy who killed Fish was an unknown SS soldier, the soldier he shoot was the prisioner that Cap Miller liberated earlye and came back and killed Cap Miller and Upham sees that the former prisioner that Upham himself pleaded to Cap liberate killed the Cap that's why Upham had no mercy on him this time

This is a video I was hoping to make one day. I have been working in film for two decades now, have always been a movie buff, but the first time I saw Jeremy Davies on screen was a real revelation. I have never identified with people on screen, not really. Empathised, yes, but they were not me. And then all of a sudden, amids all these good-looking actors stating their decisive and clever lines, there is this guy who mumbles half-sentences, makes sudden and awkward pauses, who really struggles sometimes to find the right words... in almost every film he totally sticks out between all those "actors" by being the only real person. It took me a long time to understand that he did not invent this, that this is a tried and tested technique found in Cassavettes movies, and with Peter Falk and in the 90s Indie scene in Linklater films and more recently in the mumblecore movement, but Jeremy Davies still is a one-in-a-million unique character actor. I think it's a sign that European master directors and US indie legends love to cast him, like von Trier, Wenders, Herzog, Lynch, etc. I recommend Soderberghs "Solaris" (where there actually is an in-movie explanation of why he is that way), Wenders' "Million Dollar Hotel" (a rare leading role for him, and a deeply touching one) and Shainbergs's "Secretary"

He first stood out to me in Ravenous and I’ve been a fan ever since. Another one of my favorite performances is in Million Dollar Hotel, another big ensemble cast of great actors.

He's such an underappreciated actor. He's so great in everything he does. He's definitely in my top 5 favorite. My fav of his performances is Daniel in Lost

I had this wrong for years too but the guy he kills at the end of saving private ryan isn’t the same guy that kills Mellish. The guy who kills Mellish looks similar and also has a shaved head but is in the Waffen SS and a different actor if you compare. The guy Upham kills was the guy they let go at the radio antenna. In the final battle Upham sees him shoot Capt Miller which is why he drops him and lets the others go.

He made a comeback in the recent movie "The black phone". He's the main characters father who has a good amount of screentime and moments.

Million Dollar Hotel wasn't necessarily the greatest movie of all time, but it had a star studded cast and featured a standout performance by Davies... I think this is the film that initially brought him to my attention

i loooove him, discovered him in lost, then remembered i had watched him in savIng private ryan years before (best character in that film, in my humble opinion). i´d like to coment other less known work that i absolutely love: THE LOCUSTS, and MILLION DOLLAR HOTEL. if you haven´t, watch them, really worthy. and can´t forget SOLARIS, what a captivating film... also from great film maker (and very missed, since she sadly left us some years ago) Antonia Bird, RAVENOUS. jeremy doesn´tplay a big part here, but the film is ridiculously good. she was such a great director, i understanD why jeremy chose to work with her. (becuse, don´t forget this, fellow fans, jeremy davies choses directors and projects, he said he invested his money pretty wisely so he didnt had to work if the project was not interestin....) And, i promise i´ll end my long comentary with this: his work with lars von trier. Loved hi first work - DOGVILLE - but hated the last one - JACK´S HOUSE.

His acting as Manson for me was spot on. I thought he was the perfect choice. And that isn't to say that the guy from mind hunters is bad. I'm just saying that Jeremy did it first and he did it really great. So after I seen that I started to respect him a lot more. Edit: I also have to get him credit for his acting in Solaris because that movie doesn't get enough credit as it is and ya'll should watch it.

That’s not why the German soldier didn’t kill him when he walked down the stairs. He didn’t kill him because he spoke out when the other us rangers were trying to kill him earlier in the movie after the medic died.
